Honestly, if you can call Hayden chubby, even in the face, you've been brainwashed. If you can call the kind of skinnyness exhibited by these clearly anorexic young ladies and call it 'growing up' you've been further brainwashed. Go read a book, look at some real women, perferably the atheletic kind and get real.
Chubby? Whatever... |

If really want a Supergirl, go with the current interpretation: young, freshly arrived from Argo City, confused about the world she's in and bit naive because of it.
For that you could do a lot worse than Taylor Momsen or Katrina Bowden ![]()

she's hot, but too busty for supergirl. Someone more athletic would fit the concept better. refering to the first post

Nice thread, I must say.
![]() Now, there is Supergirl movie back in 1984. It was pretty decet, not THAT fantastic movie! They should've make Superman III that introduce Supergirl with Christopher Reeve. It would've make more sense. They should've follow the Silver Age, The first appearance of Supergirl. There was Superman in it, too. "Superman III: The Birth of Supergirl". So, if they want to make a Superman movie with Brandon Routh, the title should be "Superman: The Birth of Supergirl". Either way, based on Silver Age, the first appearance of Supergirl OR the reboot... Superman/Batman: Supergirl. That'd be so cool!

Going with the current naming convention which seems to be nicknames its likely that the third movie would be called "The Last Son of Krypton" which would be ironic as an introduction for Supergirl as he wouldn't be the only Kryptonian left anymore but he'd still be the last son.

you can try and argue 'pure blood', but it's all semantics. Jason is the current last son of krypton.

I want Julianne Hough. She'd be perfect to me.. and she's got some of the brightest blues I've ever seen.

Allright. We know the movie is a reboot, and very likely to deal with Superman's origin on Krypton. I think this is a great oportunity to hint towards Kara Zor El(AKA Supergirl) existing and also escaping Krypton.
So, I open this thread to hear your thoughts on this: Should they acknoweledge the existance of Superman's cousin by name mention, or even a small cameo? Pertinence be taken: I am not asking wether Supergirl, as a full fledged costumed character should be in the movie. I'm smart enought to know that's unlikely ass(well, maybe not impossible for sequels, but still unlikely ass). |

If there is extensive time spent on Krypton, I think it would be a good idea to show Kara along with her parents. I actually think Kara/Supergirl would be a pretty smart business move on WB's part. I don't want to see Supergirl in the first movie or really even in the second. They can set her up by showing her on Krypton easily, and if they decide not to use her after that it's up to them, no harm done. If they go by the most recent incarnation, Kara is a young girl when Kal El is a baby.

I thought Kara was a teen and got stuck in suspended animation when she landed?
As for cameos or easter eggs, I think it'd be neat if we see Kal El's ship travel towards Earth, we also see another ship traveling in the same trajectory. Not something overt, but you can easily see if you know where to look. |

^ She did...... but we're just talking about whether they should show her on Krypton or not. I say it's a good idea.
