Yeah, I know. I'm not set on carrying over my skills and level.

But you do get bonuses and extra points to spend on your character and money for stuff like reaching level 60, or being a pargon maxed character.

Or so I read.

awesome avvy, Pandamar.

I'm going through the game for the 3rd/4th time (3rd as my first female character to get to level 60, and also the first time as a male). It's still a lot of fun, I'm surprised how many times I can do the same thing and still enjoy it. Mass Effect is a fantastic game.

I'm finally playing the PC version. I'm gonna do a Renegade Vanguard. I just heard that the PC version has stuff the 360 version didn't; anyone know specifics?

They do, sort of. People who reached a level 60 receive some kind of skill bonus. They didn't say what exactly.

I think they were perhaps too generous with skill points in the original, for me it's became a less a case of choosing "what to level" and more a case of "what order" to level, pretty much every major skill is maxed or nearly maxed.

I don't see a problem with that. That's kind of the point of getting to the highest levels for me: max everything out and be a total flarkin' badass.

Yeah, I know. I was just making sure ChrisBaleBatman was aware of that.

Yeah, but that's a problem with most RPGs. Although I have to admit, that it part of what appeals to me about RPGs; Starting out weak and then becoming a total badass by the end of the game. In my view problems only arise when they get over-zealous with level scaling and you never feel like you're making any progress.

I think being lvl 60 means you get to start the game at level 5. Cool.

I just got Wrex in my party. Sucks that he doesn't start out with the shotgun skill, but I'll get to 'em eventually. Assault rifles 'til then, I guess.

Going through my 3rd playthrough. I just got to the area with the Rachnis, and I went into an elevator, it went down and the door opened to reveal a wall. I then told it to go back up to try it again, but all of my crew warped onto the top of the elevator. I then jumped off the top of the elevator and was stuck in the small out of map area around the elevator and couldn't get back into the game.

And my last save was right at the start of the mako snow section, so I decided to stop playing for awhile.

Awesome, now I have something to utterly dread on my play-through. I just left off after settling the Hannar/C-Sec officer dispute in the Citadel and am on my way to add Garrus to my party. There are elevators... everywhere...

Damn man you don't have auto save on? lol the only glitch that's ever f**ked me over is on the same level, when you're facing off against Benezia. When the Asari commandos use warp when you're on the stairs, your character model never goes back to normal. =/

You can bypass most of the elevators eventually when you unlock all the areas of the Citadel and just take the mass transport. Only place that never seemed to be able to travel to was C - Sec headquarters where you take the elevator to your ship.

I've played through ME at LEAST 5 or 6 times and this is my first real issue with bugs. Which, I find extremely odd.

I'm still in the process of scanning Keepers, so I'm running everywhere for the time being. But I do have auto-save on and I save pretty often on my own (alternating between two save spots rather than just saving over the same spot all the time, no less), so I should be okay.

Best line in the game, and I laugh every time he says it...

I do have auto save on, and its last save was before the driving section. I was surprised it didn't save once I got to the lab.

I just finished my Hardcore Paragon playthrough. I managed to finish every side-mission I could find. Even the collecting of minerals, medallions, discs, etc.

I'm a little surprised that Hardcore wasn't more difficult. Although, I was at level 60 for most of it, and did have the best armor and weapons.

Still, the hardest parts I can think of were whenever the Krogans on Saren's force would decide to go into beserk rage mode and come straight for me.

I'll try and play on insane sometime, though. Just got ME2 in the mail. Finally.

I'm sticking to normal; higher difficulties never really appealed to me. I just created a female Paragon Infiltrator last night (she ended up looking kind of like a cross between Aisha Tyler and Rashida Jones, oddly enough), so I'll have two different Shepard perspectives whenever I finally get ME2.

The harder difficulties don't seem to be a problem for me, because of the multiple playthroughs. Since I get to keep my armor and weapons, and skills...I think I just have the edge. Atleast on Hardcore.
