does anyone have any idea about what the original plot for xmen 3 would have been had it not been so changed for the many reasons it was? I mean we clearly know they had a much larger scale epic film than what we got, and i know many threads have been made to bash x3, but none have really x-amined what the orignal ideas were so i thought id make one
.. think about things youve seen in concept art (that stuff isnt made for no reason guys) for example check these out (already been posted) http://www.adrienvanviersen.com/stor...ed-scenes.html -why would kitty be running into the presidents limo? -how would jean have ended up destroying sanfransisco? would she have done it from alcatraz? doubtful. -there was talk of the big ending in washington? what would have happened! i know you all have many ideas and i have alot of my own but id like to know, if anyone has some real concrete information on what really* was supposed to go down in x3, post that too! |

There's no concrete info other than what we got in the film, really.
The only "concrete" thing is that Alcatraz was supposed to be a prison for mutants, the Golden Gate Bridge sequence was going to be in the middle of the film to break out those mutants (instead, it became the truck convoy), and that the final battle would be in Washington, D.C. The early script review also has a scene in which, Beast, along with Kitty Pryde and Iceman, I believe, broke into Worthington Labs to steal the cure or something like that. That scene was eventually cut.

if you been byran singer's version
x3 would've been two films x3 and x4 both focusing mainly on Jean Grey's personality disorder (YES NO ALIENS the personality disorder was the way singer had explained it to Famke...) no Halle Berry/Storm as she had to contract to rewturn and she had alot of fights with singer etc... would have introduced Beast Gambit and Psylocke as new characters and i don't think there would have been any cure

Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops go to Taco Bell. Wolverine and Storm realize that the cash register clerk is none other than there long dead Phoenixfied friend Jean Grey, before they can warn Scott though he dies in a tragic telekinetic chalupa accident. An epic battle breaks out in the parking lot when Xavier and Magneto and his brotherhood show up to take Jean. In the end, Xavier dies when he meats the deadly end of a soft shell taco. The last hour would be the remaining characters enjoying a nice meal at the KFC across the street.

In my view, this was a GOOD change to the script. Making the cure something sought by Angel's dad, and making Worthington Snr a misguided man who thought he was helping, was better than making him an evil villain with a serum (which we had in X2). Where it went wrong was that Beast and Angel didn't really get enough scenes to fully show their turmoils, and the cure was not explored in the depth many wanted. We never find out Xavier's stance, for instance - how the cure would undo all the work he has done in founding the school and pursuing a dream of co-existence.

Not Enough Famke Cant breathe :cough cough: Halle is too famous.....hate....Noooo waaaahh....can't go on like this I'm funny. JAB, is there a line at that KFC? I hate waiting for fast food

i hate how Bryan Singer minimized the action in the first two films and x3 more than made up for that action wise also about all the Halle vs Famke i've been reading some old famke interviews and she seems to have USED to get along with halle during x2 so who knows wheather the x3 fights were rumours or not.. Famke Janssen:"There was no attitude at all from Halle on her return. If anything she was even more humble and even more low-key. She is much too incredible a person to let something like that affect her.

Where the hell are these rumored Halle vs Famke fights? You! You are the only person on this board that has the two ladies pitted against each other in rumors. I had never heard of anything bad blood between the two ladies until you started saying it. I just think in your little fantasy world you want them to be, because of your distaste for Halle and love for Famke.

I remember rumours about the two not even wanting to stay near each other in Cannes, yet, we had LOADS of pictures with them together, one even featuring only the two ladies posing side by side.
btw, phoenix_force, you call that a big article? That's more like a footnote. |

Good thing we all believe in everything we see and hear. Thank good for media hype and publicity. How else are we ever going to know the truth?
This whole Halle vs Famke thing which just won't go away seems to be inflamed on one side of the fence, just knock it off.
