Not bad. Hey, send me that $6 in the background. I knew I left it somewhere.

Looks great so far.

By the way, I still got that Antman fig for you, never found a Thor. Gonna need you to pm me your address at some point so I know where to send it, plus we still need to talk about whether you're going to pay me back the cash for it, or whether you want to trade something for it. I got to get to bed soon, but let me know what you want to do so I can get it to you as soon as possible.

Excellent, but yes, too shiny. You said it yourself that he isn't finished so have at'em!

Also, is it even possible to customize a figure, say Silver Surfer, into having that mirror-like silver he should have?

I wish. So far I've never seen anything THAT shiny. I've seen some shiny Colossus figs and Silver Samurais but never anything that resembles mirror.

Yeah, come to think of it making a fig mirror-like would be next to impossible. But how would one customize a fig shiny enough to make a glare? Kinda like the old '90 version of SS.

You can use silver as a base and toss a few coats of clear coat. But two many layers of paint can lead to chipping and cracking.

That's true. Also thanks about the avy thing, I guess it had to take about 20 minutes or something to give me the Edit Avatar option under CP.

The sytem uptates every 15 inutes...so when you make a new level it takes 15 minutes at the most to change over.....Sad thing is once you hit 6000 posts there are no more perks to strive for

toybiz made a close to mirror surfer and nova for the animated series, for a fig to be that reflective, the plastic has to be alot harder... movie power rangers figs are another example of shiny reflective plastic

Well, Hasbro has a nice chrome effect on Ultimate Iron Man. I can see future figures getting that treatment aslong as it calls for that. Imagine a Silver Samurai fig like the old one in the X-Men line with chromed plastic armor like Ult IM but poseable and bigger. That'd be awesome.

ya, the chrome on Ult Iron man is real hard plastic isnt it though? usualyl the harder it is, the easier it is to break, wich is kinda the sucky part... but i dont think you can have a soft plastic that reflective though

I don't think so either. Its gotta be pretty stiff.

Either that or they'll do a "super duper exclusive super-metal paint finish extravaganza" like on Iron Spidey.

That's excellent, but yes, just ain't chrome as it could be. The board however is nice, you can see his reflection. I wonder what happened to the face?
