Year One is comics canon, unless Infinite Crisis retconned it and I didn't hear about that. DKR is not, it's Elseworlds, I guess. It definitely had an influence on BB - the bats storming Arkhama was straight outta YR1.

Well I see a whole lot of regular colored skin, and if the makeup is not done........GOOOOD, thats what i have been saying all along. If this is what the movie looks like, horrible! The joker is not a idiot that smears whip cream on his face.....this guy is supposed to have his skin BLEACHED WHITE form TOXIC CHEMICALS. And yes even from that distance, I think the appropriate white, or grey would show through. So lets all just pray that this is not full makeup okay. Or we can be really excited about Brokeback mountain boy with green streaks and shaving cream on his face. (Hey man thats not fair, thats not even a good picture, why dont you wait to see the official stuff) Oh I am waiting bud, and i hope to god it doesnt look anything like this, I hope the official pictures are awesome. Untill then, I will continue to make observations on what I see in this picture. Props to whoever got the picture. But guess what, If the costume and makeup design does not stray far from what Im seeing, WB is going to loose alot box office dollars. We want the JOKER and THE BATMAN not Batman beating up on a gay cowboy in drag. (Dude you guys are going crazy over a grainy picture) yeah, I can see even through the grains that there is alot wrong with this picture!

Can't say much, because of the distance and quality of the picture, but it does look like a step in the right direction. From what I can see, though, I hope they add some more black make-up around the eyes, that way it'll make the face stand up and will give that "Clockwork Orange" feel Ledger was talking about.

I will say, though, if Ledger as The Joker looks more like this:



I will squee higher than any fan-girl in this joint.

Nightwing, it's because they can hide behind a screen, thats why, and for some im sure its the only place where they can get a "high" messing with other people. I guess manners dont extent all the way to the internet.

The fact that anyone is fighting over a picture of a guy with green hair and white skin is pretty funny I think. If anyone here liked batman begins even with its "different" scarecrow which i thought was badass. They should have faith in Nolan. If he screws up a character that is pretty hard to **** up i'll be suprised.
