It's pretty certain that the dye they are using is temporary wash out stuff, there's not a chance Ledger will be going home each night with bright green hair.

The 60s series was a whole world away from what Batman is about today. I would not want to see that in Nolan/Bale's Batman.....even Schumacher had the common sense to keep Batman out of the sun (from what I can remember, been a long time since I sat through those two films).
Batman in the daylight looks exactly like what he is, a guy in a rubber suit, no shadows to hide in, no darkness to disappear into. And if Batman is still wanted by the police in TDK then he's going to be even more reluctant to come out during the day, when he can be more easily trapped or followed home.

I agree!!! And nice art, love the purple striped top, great job, looks like The Joker sitting in Arkham contemplating his revenge!

This is old news i'm sure, but when I read this I re-realize something good that I already know! That is that Nolan takes his movies very seriously, and I believe him when he says in that interview that he was compelled to do a sequel because of the way the first one ended with the Joker card, and he wanted to explore it. Match that with the one interview where he mentions that he wouldn't have even done the sequel (which oddly enough I didn't know, but he had no intention of doing a sequel in the first place he said) if he didn't like what he had to work with. This is why I like Nolan a lot, all of his movies are well thought out, and he is a good director. Judging by what he says regarding the Joker, he has a plan set out it seems. "I spoke to [Nolan] about it and said, 'This is how I think the Joker should be,' " Caine remembered. "I said a certain thing about how it should be done, and he says, 'I've got a better way than that one.' And I went, 'Whoa,' because my way was good — my way was really good. Because, I mean, you have got to top Jack — and not a lot of people can top Jack." It's good to see that all the folks around Nolan are keeping him steady with what the Joker should be too! ![]() What wonderful times, couple these words with the spyshot of Joker, and i'm in heaven.

i'm almost sure that batman will not come out in the daylight. that does not mean they cannot film during the day. there is that special camera filter that lets you filter out sunlight. they used in Buffy TVS.
also i'm on the heath is flesh colored in a "killing Joke" inspired flashback. I'm hoping that we do not get an origin, but maybe a little back story. It will be great whatever it is. I'm finally getting pumped up for this movie!!! Last edited by blud_knight; 04-25-2007 at 11:30 AM. |

Or maybe it could just be a daylight scene. Maybe they are successful and pull off the bank heist without Batman's interference. It could be one of those scenes where Bruce isn't involved.

I posted this somewhere else, but in the sides, “The Chief” and a swat guy are in a garage with an empty school bus. They say they’ve found the missing bus and there is a hostage situation in a nearby building.
It seems like the sides take place after the getaway, because the cops are in possession of the bus. Perhaps Joker lost the police in the line of buses, but they catch up to him somewhere else. And by that time, it could be (k)night time |

i heard a bomb was going to be involved as well. who knows maybe joker is going to blow the bank up, and escape via zip line. who knows, but a stand off going into the night does bode well for our hero in black

I doubt Batman will show up at the bank robbery. Or else why would Gordon need to contact Batman via the signal, leading to another rooftop meeting?

heres my theory on whats happened the past couple days in Chicago.
- joker is wearing some heavy makeup to hide his true self or perhaps nolan is really using CGI on Ledgers face.(it has to be cuz i read somewhere in the boards joker shows the bank manager what he really looks like.) - they rob the bank and joker escapes with his goons and the money in the bus. he gets away. no chase or anything. - before they leave though to keep the police and everyone else occupied, one of the goons sets fire to the bank, thus forcing the police to help everyone in the bank get out. - as they're leaving the joker smeares the make-up off and says he hates the make-up or something and takes it off. NO BATMAN ON SCENE. thats what i think.

Yeah, I´ve been thinking something like that for the past few days...remember in Batman 89 when the Joker wears make up to cover his white skin before meeting with Vicky Vale ? Well, I remember reading that the rest of the goons are not aware that the Joker (the guy they work for) is one of´em, so maybe he´s wearing that make up (in his neck and part of his hair) to cover his true self....thus being the reason with Ledger has the front part of his hair green and not the back...see where i´m goin ??
