First off, Katie Holmes is a cutie, minus the T. Cruise spunk, but sh'es a sub par actress and was the worst part of BB... so good call there Nolan...

Secondly... Dent's role being offered to Damon shows that Nolan only wants good actors. Damon is a very talented man, and would have made the Dent role spectacular...

Thirdly.... having Edward Norton in the running...AWESOME... this guy is seriously one of the best actors around right now... there's nothing this guy can't do.... besides gain some wieght...

Agreed again. The Nolan Brother's writing the dialogue is yet another positive.

They got Goyer's expertise on his knowledge of Batman and got a good outline to go off of, then added their superior talent to it.

I do think it was part political on the studio's part. I feel like the semi-bad publicity with her and Cruise did her in, and perhaps that was the trick.

And perhaps, Holmes herself felt the heat and couldn't take it. ITs weird but we don't know the whole story, but this is what I think..
