I hope we can all agree that John Barry's music in the series has not yet been surpassed. HOWEVER, other composers have still done a pretty good job. So, which is your favorite?
You know...the more I watch, The Spy Who Loved Me, the more I fall in love with Marvin Hamlisch's score for the film. A little example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmpLTxdQHqA And, here's an interesting use of the music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh8sbx7mnwc |

David Arnold's scores have been close in spirit to Barry's work, apart from Tomorrow Never Dies, that score (based on his own title song which was rejected) was a bit off.
Sierra's score for GoldenEye was the weak link in the movie, didnt feel like a Bond Score. |

In spirit but not in creativity and originality.

George Martin, simply because the man is a genius.

Yup. The Beatles' producer. I wouldn't be surprised if our British pal, Kev, voted for Mr. Martin as well. What was it that Roger Moore said in TSWLM? "Keeping the British end up, sir."

Well, you neglected to mention Michael Kamen's LICENCE TO KILL score, a score that I find to be quite good.
But anyway, my favorite non-Barry Bond score thus far is CASINO ROYALE. I don't care for Arnold's other scores, but CASINO ROYALE impressed me. |

Yeah, the Lethal Weapon/Die Hard-esque score. I knew I was forgetting something.

David Arnold, but only for TWINE and CR, good to specify.
I wonder who will vote for Eric Serra, the music was so weird in GoldenEye...

TWINE was OK-ish, but CR is really pretty good.
