Default Dream Avengers

Hi guys,

Me and my friend are debating which one will be the better Avengers team. Both of us came out with our own Avengers and can't decide which one will be the better team. Need you guys to vote on this and hey if you guys wana join in, you are welcome to do so but there are certain rules.

The rules are:
- You can't take 3 members from another team. (Eg Cyclops, Beast and Archangel from X-Men)

- You can use dead characters.

- Current depowered characters can be use but they will still not have their powers.

- No supervillians unless they are former supervillians.

Here are the teams gathered by me and my friend.

THE Avengers
Black Panther
Storm
Nova
Thor
Firestar
Maverick (without power)
Venom (Eddie Brock)
Arabian Knight 3 (Navid Hashim)
Crystal

The Replacements
Jack Flag
Firebird
Black Knight
Hercules
Quicksilver
Hawkeye
Moondragon
The Falcon
Yellowjacket (Henry Pym)

The Battle starts now!!!!

THE Avengers versus The Replacements!!!

Fight!!!

My dream Avengers:
Captain America- leader
Iron Man
Storm
Giant Woman (Wasp)
Yellow Jacket (Pym)
Thor
maybe Hulk or She-Hulk
Hawkeye
Vision
maybe Scarlet Witch.

But the best part would be the art. It would be drawn by Frank Cho. I love how the Avengers look in his style. The truely look like Earth's mightiest heroes.

I know it sounds a little weird, but that was the intent.

I forgot Namor, although I think in my team he would be an unofficial member. Like Batman is with the JLA.

I go with the classic three

Cap
Ironman
Thor

add in

Spider Woman
Ms Marvel
Sentry
Forge
Vision

(all of these are quite well powered so they all have a good amount of power to take on opponents, although cap is tactics and Forge is tech)

In a great battle that claimed the lives of the greatest heroes on the planet, Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and the more prominent solo-ists, as well as the cosmic entity that came to kill them, the world was left, stripped bare of those icons... but now a shadowy figure is reassembling teams...

Avengers:
Misty Knight
Hercules
Stature
Turbo
Forge
War Machine
....
Victor Mancha

The first five are gathered together and given instruction on what is expected of them. not a day goes by before they are called into action. Ultron, and a horde of his drones are launching an attack on Stark Tower. The Avengers are on the scene quickly, but there is a nasty surprise waiting for them: Ultron has taken possession of his youngest "son", Victor Mancha. Forge, luckily, reconstructs portions of a fallen drone into a "Bluetooth Jammer" which inhibits all wireless electronic communication. Victor comes to his senses, and releases and Fries all the remaining drones and Ultron, but promptly falls into a coma from the exertion. They take the inert cyborg back to Avengers tower to see what they can do to help him regain consiousness.

Mine would be
1: Captain America. The only real leader the Avengers should ever have.

2: Spiderman. Brains, middle of the road in terms of power and range and great group support. Comic relief

3: Iron Fist. Financial backing, Hardcore close quarters combatant. Mysticism.

4: Hercules. Heavy hitter. Freakin Hercules.

5: Ms Marvel. Flyer, Ranged attacker, secondary leader. Eye candy

6: Captain Marvel (Phylla). Flyer, Ranged attacker, High end energy manipulator. Eye Candy.

7: Black Knight. Brains, Magic experience/abilities, close quarters combatant.

8: Gravity. Widespread support, Flyer, Ranged attacker, rookie (to me every team needs one)

A big part of the team to me is the relationships within it. Certain people just play off each other brilliantly. Herc and Black Knight are proven examples. Spiderman and Gravity I think would work well, Black knight and Iron Fist, Spiderman and Iron Fist, Cap and Spiderman, Cap and Herc etc. I also think Phylla and Ms Marvel would work well together. Possibly due to friction between the two of them which can frankly be as fun to read if not more, as the good relationships.

One more thing to add to yours, is something else Spider-Man brings to the group: Experience and Connections. people often discredit Spider-Man as a low-level strength without much to offer when broken down, but he has fought beside almost every hero in the Marvel universe, been to most locations, seen almost any thing the cosmic world has to offer.

But I like the idea of your team if:

A: Phylla has a thing for Carol
B: Gravity has a man-crush on Spider-Man
C: Spider-Man and Black Knight constantly call Hercules "Herakles" to get on his nerves
D: Gravity is constantly asking disbeliving questions about Magic to Black KNight and Hercules
E: Ms. Marvel calls cap on the "Eye-Candy" accusations, which he naturally says aren't true, as she walks away, all the guys except Cap and Phylla lean over to watch her walk away.

Besides, Iron Man at this point is little better than Dr. Doom, only Doom is in some ways more honest and upfront with his dickery.
