The Six Arms Saga is a story arc of the popular Marvel Comic Spider-Man, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Gil Kane. It spans the issues Amazing Spider-Man #100-102 (1973).
The story arc is mostly remembered for the striking aesthetic of Spider-Man, swinging through the city with four extra arms. TAGLINE: no cop-out! Spidey is really awake! He HAS six arms! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-..._Six_Arms_Saga Though I think the comic didn't transform him into the man-spider, only 6 arms. Though, he just very recently transformed into a man-spider thing when he gained his organic web-shooting. I think it was that Spiderman: The Others storyline. Oh yeah, the whole huge spider thing in the cartoon was probably my most favorite story arc of the 90s cartoon. Even better that it included the Punisher. |
