If you must know, a lot of us were still talking to eachother on AIM in chatrooms. I mean, if you are going to make 5 posts every second, you might as well be on Instant Messenger. its easier to talk to 30 people at once on a MB then on IM

IMO, it provides more of a how a conversation happens in real life, when people post so much... keeps it interesting.

When I was at CS!, it'd be around 10-20 users online, MAX. Here, it's around 200. So, yeah...
