he's answered that question as well:

just curious, but what do you base your speculation on? and how is it logical that he's playing nigma/riddler over any other character? walk us through this logic.

talk about refusing to admit the obvious...the guy himself says that he plays a good guy.

Never seen Breakfast Club.

I loved Edward Scissorhands as a kid, just like I did Beetlejuice. I don't remember either of them very well though.

You could very well be on to something! According to that scooper he might be playing someone that is good but also bad. Holiday Killer was bad but good in the sense that he was helping them out with the case. I don't know wether to ignore the idea or roll with it.....................

It could be a huge twist at the end of the movie the way Nolan likes it and it has already been established in TLH. I think it is has a fighting chance as much as his role as the Riddler.

I also think it has a fighting chance. It's funny how they have been saying for quite some time one of the big influences for this film is The Long Halloween and most people instantly thought Riddler or fake Batman. Then there's me with the Falafel assistant.

Either way you're thinking about the Calendar Man. That would be cool if AMH was the Calendar Man but I wonder how they would put him into the movie considering The Dark Knight is partially based on TLH. Not completley based on TLH. My money is still on Vernon Fields.

It was Gilda Dent, except for the the two you mentioned above. But for this movie's purposes- I could see Nolan developing AMH as a "Holiday Killer" character.

Vernon Fields could be a good guess- but why the secrecy about it?

If the character's identity is really so significant that it effects the course of the whole movie, then I don't think it can be The Riddler, unless he is revealed as some sort of mastermind behind everything. AMH surely has to be playing someone whose very existence would cast the characters we already know in some new light. I don't really buy the "real Joker" theory, because I don't think AMH is an actor of that calibre and I don't see why Heath Ledger would want to play ball....

...Maybe he is Thomas Wayne?

There might be secrecy over the role because unless you've been reading the spoilers you wouldn't know that Two-face is in the movie. Vernon Fields is a dead give-away.

He's clearly playing the bad half of two-face's face. throw a little purple make-up on him and you have a whole new achievement in cinema.
