The Shield - 7th and Final Season

Any and all discussion, in here, for the seventh and final season of the great TV series, The Shield. That being said....

Anyone have any predictions on whats to come? Vic keeping or losing his job? The San Marco's killings? Shane's situation? The Barn?

It's coming Fall '08.

Obviously Vic will be keeping his jobs. That box in the trunk made sure of it. I'm thinking Shane will once again turn to Vic for help during some point of the season.

At the end I expect to see Shane dead. Vic will live on thinking he's in the clear when all of the sudden. Shane's note on every dirty deed that the strike team comes to light. Then Vic has a flashback to where Shane says to him, "If anything happens to me, my wife, my kid, my mutha****in' mail man ... this **** lands on IED's doorstep." Not in those exact words but you get the idea

Anyway, with the notes out Vic gets tossed in pen.

I don't know how Vic will end but Shane needs to do something to try and redeem himself, hes an idiot but hes not evil.

I have a feeling that Ronnie will die. I just have a feeling, like he'll jump in front of a bullet for Vic. I think Shane'll die for sure, he's too far down the rabbit hole. And I hope to god that that package doesn't see the light of day and ruin Vic.

I was always wishing that Monica Rowling would come back for the final season and help Vic out. And I always wanted Vic and Dutch to join forces for some reason. If Vic gets his though, I want Aceveda to get his too. He annoys me.

Didn't Shane say that his copy is hidden well? The search and recovery for that can be a storyline, with Vic and Ronnie doing everything in their power to do so. I feel Mara and/or the children will be used as bargaining chips, and someone will die in the process. Shane will continue to plummet, and maybe there will be a brutal fight between Vic and Shane, where Vic kills Shane with his own hands (which I expected to happen in the last season). Or Shane fights dirty and has Vic down, and Ronnie jumps out and saves the day, killing Shane in the process.

In a strange way I think they almost have to end with Vic living just so it stands out from The Sopranos. Then again, that's what I want anyways.

If you think about it The Shield was the first outstanding show on FX and really brought into "the action".

That might of sounded bad but I think you know what I mean.

I had heard that stupid show Dirt got renewed and the Shield wouldn't air until around the same time as it did in '07.
