Okay, I was just thinking...remember when Sue and Reed were going to break up the team to live "normal lives"? It pissed Johnny and Ben off of course, they like having a team...

Was it just me that missed this? "This" meaning that the team breaking up thing was NEVER resolved? Ever...

I honestly don't remember...it's like it's all good at the end.

Maybe I missed it, I don't know. Although the film was decently good, the thing that hurt it most for me was that it was TOO DAMN FAST! I really can't remember half of what I just saw...

reed and sue said they weren't breaking up the team. saying they dont have to have a normal life to raise a family. how could you miss that?

Sorry, it's just everything was too fast. It was one of those films I have to see like more than once to grasp it all.

It was a tacked on line of dialouge at the end. As the worse-than-Elektra film winds down after SS explodes a Galactus mist, Johnny says something about this being the last adventure or something and Reed says "we're not splitting up, the whole world was just saved by the four of us".

Well I have another question.

Johnny said to Surfer as he was going to Galactus "you could use some help" then he falls back and goes away....?

Did I miss something there, or was he just worthless or playing a joke lol.

I think Johnny was trying to give the somewhat-weakened Surfer a boost, and then a) sees whatever's up in that cloud of energy, and b) has limits to how far outside Earth's atmosphere he can go before flaming off.

Yeah, since that ENTIRE scene is about resolving the "Reed and Sue might leave" plotline, I'm not sure how you could miss it... it would mean missing a full minute of dialogue.

And yes, Johnny helps the Surfer by pushing him up into the sky... Which is why he's... pushing on the board when he says that.

Well actually, around that part my cellphone started to vibrate because my bro thought the movie was over and he was picking me up. I went out and answered and I was like "the movie's still going" and he goes "you have your cellphone on during the movie? You f---er." (jokingly) and I went back in.

lol. Yeah so that could've been it. Really though I couldn't even remember how Dr. Doom fell in the water when I got home because it happened too fast.

Yeah he did climb up a crane didn't he. Wow I was trying to think if Johnny had punched him or thrown him.

Still, that was one of my least favorite things about Doom in this movie. He falls in the water and he's sinking fast and moving around but we don't see anything else but a 5 second shot? They just wrapped it all up way too quickly.

Huh, weird, me and my 4 friends thought the runtime was fine, the movie seemed to pace itself fine for me. But to each their own. I am glad that the movie wasn't another 2-3 hour fest (I am really... really... sick of long movies.)

Yeah, they should've a least made his "apparent death" more clear and dramatic. Maybe it was the PG rating that got it cut down?

I was glad that he didn't really have an "apparent death." I mean, he gets knocked into the ocean but it's obvious that he's still very much alive. It keeps him as a looming background threat, even though it gets him out of the way for now. I'm pleased that this franchise isn't making the mistake of killing off its bad guys.
