Three days to preseason! Doesn't really matter though since, nothing counts and none or very little of it is televised, but what can I say? I love hockey.

Sometime in July. The Wild have Backstrom and Harding, two younger and better goalies. The rumour was that Boston was going to offer restricted free agent Ray Emery a contract that Ottawa wouldn't match, but they would have to give up 4 1st round draft picks most likely. Then the trade happened.

First pre-season game last night:

I'm hating a lot of all these new jerseys. They keep removing the horizontal trim around the waistband, which makes the uniforms look incredibly plain.

Yeah, they should have just kept the Canadian flag... but it's hard to complain against a team flying the provincial colours

On that note, I'm really digging these new jerseys. The Sens have the best one so far... the new Sharks logo is pretty cool too.

NHL 08 has a code that allows you access to all the RBK Edge jerseys.

Dallas' home jersey is horrible. Its black with Dallas across it. Some look good and some just suck, and I have to wonder what some of these teams were thinking.

AHL teams are now included, its good for a laugh if you pay some attention to the league.

The CFL needs to be in Madden 09. Its only 8 teams/stadiums and some different rules. If one NFL player is suspended you could have him play in Toronto to not get rusty in franchise mode.

I think it'd be a good idea to put the SHH Fantasy Hockey League in it's own thread. Maybe also push the draft back. Need to fill it out and get a few more teams.

Plus, now I'm not going to be able to make the draft if it's at 4 PM EST.

The Commish changed it to Sun Sept 23 1:00pm CDT.

The first week begins on Sept 24 until Oct 7. Two games on 29th/30th and then when the rest of the season starts on October 3rd.

I'm thinking of leaving this fantasy league since i was the last one to register and you can't draft until it has even number of teams. if no one else signs up tomorrow, i'll just delete my team.

? Where is that rule? Is that in fantasy football? Just every team gets two bye weeks if there isn't an even number.

We've got a full slate of teams today...

I can't make the draft tomorrow on account I'm driving 100 miles and back to bring TSoB to his mother's, so unless you change it to later in the evening (anytime between 7:30 & 9:30 YOUR time in Manitoba), I can't be there.
