Yeah, and in the comics there have been like 50 Supergirl/Superwomens...

"I just got some updated info and I'm no longer 99% sure Lana appears in 702. At this point I'd say 50%, but she won't actually be in Smallville. Not trying to be mysterious, it's all I have right now."

he's not. He wasn't the last from the fifties until crisis and he's not the last in the comics now. That isn't that hard to understand but people like brian singer have this view of superman that has never existed in the comics

Captivated, I'm with ya girl. I LOATHE the idea of bringing Supergirl onto SV. I could give a rat's patootie what is and isn't in the comics as it pertains to that character. SV is about CK becoming Superman. Given the premise, I have zero interest in exploring the Supergirl character at this time on this show.

I agree with both of you, I don't like the idea of kara on Smallville or in general for that matter.
partly because they said they were basing her off Loeb's horrible version of kara., but mainly it's because I prefer Superman to be sole survivor of Krypton.

i wonder when kara will actually be introduced, with 'kara' being the title of episode 2 it sort of implies she might come in at the end of the first episode, seeing as it seems to be primarily about bizarro

Might as well add another to the Lana rumor mill.

I think we may not "see" Kara until the end of the preem. Perhaps that's why they can start filming without her.

I called that weeks ago. It just seems like the smallville thing to do.
