Okay, so this is the new show that will be airing at the CW Thursdays 8 pm... Uhmm, I have a feeling that I might not like it very much. I wonder whatever happened to that other show that was supposed to be about Clark Kent... Are they going to air it anywhere? Because it used to be interesting...

I wouldn't get too worried, they have a conversation is all, I'm not sure why that means Chlex, they've certainly talked before.

thats acceptable. However kara could always fly as soon as she came out the ship clark couldn't. I don't think 'long before her' should go in comic years, We forget, for a long time superman could only leap tall buildings with a single bound and not fly add to that virtually every superhero flies it doesn't seem that unique and special that he can't learn from someone who could do it like kara and MM just to get it done. i don't care how he learns either way but I think its about time

your over reacting. it will be fine. Lex and chloe will argue, the editor will be in six episodes kara in half. Its just we haven't heard about what clark is doing that is making the fans a bit pissed.or lex for that matter. All will be fine

yes, I can see how "a scene" between Chloe and Lex would render Clark useless in the entire series now

I could care less if it's Supergirl, Superboy or freaking Krypto.

Flying defines Superman. Clark's first flight should be iconic and memorable. Don't you think It will undermine the character who's been on this journey for the last seven years, to have his teenage, inexperienced cousin appear out of the blue and show Clark how it's done when it comes to flying.

Truth is, I would rather have no one but Clark learn his most unique power on his own. There are so many ways to be creative about it and make it memorable and Clark taking flying lessons from Kara (Gough's words, not mine) is not one of them. But if you think otherwise, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I like Kara and I do see potential in bringing her into Smallville. It just all depends on how they handle it.

I have a problem with brian singers concept that superman being 'the last' is what makes him unique. I find that hugely insulting to such an iconic character that his moral stance and what he stands for as a symbol is neglected. Superman hasn't been the last for the majority of his existence why make such a big deal out of something that doesn't crop up too much in superman's stories.

Because Supergirl is lame.


Kal-El's life journey has more meaning if he is the last survivor of that doomed civilization.

I'm open to her appearance when Superman is older and established; with a much better sense of identity..... but now; years before Clark even decides to be Superman...

I think someone mentioned a while ago in another thread that everything they want to do with Kara, they could've done with Raya, and I agree.

Especially considering this Kara is the same age as Clark. It isnt the classic mentor/young sidekick dynamic..... theyre equal partners now :/
