I'm getting a little confused as to the distinction between the regular "Avengers" and the splinter group of the same name? You'd think that a business wizard like Tony Stark would have seen fit to copyright /trademark the "Avengers" title( hell, it works for Coca-Cola and The Hells' Angels!)
Any thoughts on this? Terry |

well tha arena football league uses "avengers" for their l.a. teams name even using one of the avengers tiles fonts so i think he'd have a little problem there by now

Avengers is probably trademarked in some way. Still, it doesn't really make a difference, since the off-shoot group currently running around is composed entirely of fugitives anyway. I don't think they care much about whether they actually have the legal right to use the name.
