There's only 1 thing a guy should know before he cheats... eventually his spouse will figure it out. The guy will behave differently toward his wife and he won't be able to cover up all the clues to his indiscretion. The big question is what does his wife place her values on, his honesty, his money or the "stability" of their marriage. I know of three guys who cheated on their wives, the wives found out, in the first two cases the wives forgave their husbands (but let them know they had been caught and it wouldn't be tolerated if it happened again), in the third it ended in a divorce.

This is true, that is why there should be a male cheating buddy system. There needs to be a buddy cheater web site. You pay a small fee to meet other cheaters in your home town. Then you set up a friendship with this person and when you go out to cheat you tell your spouse that you are going to hang out with your new friend. then both guys cover for each other when they go out to cheat. The cheating will have to be coordinated with each friend. Now I'm no cheater but I know a good money maker when I see one.

I hope I never cheat and I am afraid that one day I just might given the right circumstances.

The number one thing a woman needs to know when cheating on her man is....just lie. We believe anything, we are that stupid.

Women have gone for years without their significant other finding out, we just can't be as crafty as they are.

Pretty soon all cell phones will come with a GPS tracking system and spouses will be able to tell where their significant other is at all times or at least where the phone is.

sadly, that's not always the case. A lot of people like to believe that but I've seen people do that sort of thing for years without repercussion, and the guys' wives werent stupid women either.

It may have been without repercussions because the wives didn't want to let on that they knew. Some people don't want to "rock the boat". They may actually have been satisfied with the way things were going. Some women enjoy getting the "guilt gifts" the occassionally come from a cheating husband and only raise a stink if it looks like the husband will actually leave them.

That's actually sicker than the actual cheating.

Oh, agreed... I didn't say it was a healthy relationship... but it does happen. It's one way for the spouse to get revenge.

You would think the #1 thing would be "Don't Get Caught."

Well, it's a lot of hard work. I make the joke, that I'm too lazy to cheat. Different credit cards, cleaning out your cell phone or explaining why you have 2 phone. It ain't high school or college.

Bah, in a non marriage non child based relationship, there is absolutely nothing to lose from cheating.

And it's very easy to not get caught if you have a clear head on your shoulders. Those who do get caught deserve to get caught.

If you do get caught, pass the buck as there is obviously something wrong in the relationship and there are some wants your partner is not getting from you.

Don't be afraid to be a dog, the dust pretty much always settles.

I say this because the majority of people probably invest more in a relationship than i do.

I'll openly say that if i'm with someone it doesn't mean i wont stray if there are problems within the relationship and i expect the same from her as well, there's no point just being with someone for the sake of it.

also intoxication has been ruled out as a justified means of getting away with cheating.

I don't know why i'm saying this, i've never cheated (technically)a nd never intend to.

but if i did i would get caught...

Even if you're not married and there are no children, it's still a relationship. If you don't want the relationship anymore, terminate it honestly and then form another.

#1: If the thought of cheating has seriously entered your mind then you really have no business being in your current relationship.

Close thread.

Trust me, these women "wear the pants" in those relationships, and would sooner separate guys from their "members" or be rich ex-wives than to choke it down.

I used to do family law which involved a lot of divorce work, and the most common thing you'd hear from the aggreived women, who in a lot of cases were intelligent professionals, was "how could I not know?" That was also the thing that seemingly made them the maddest. It's not as easy to know as you would think it would be.

Obviously if you're in a marriage where your constantly together with your spouse and all of a sudden they start disapopearing, etc. it's a bit easieer, but most people, especially professionals, are away from their spouses for the majority of the day and most couples dont completely mix things like finances so it becomes harder to tell.

Ahh, but you were at the Divorce end of it... so either they found out or the spouse finally told them... right?
