i'm doing this for fun-- i'm 26 years old and i'm a professional musician.
i've never taken my art very seriously and i thought it would be cool to get really good at it.

Anything by Burne Hogarth, Dynamic Anatomy,Figure Drawing,Head,Hands,Light and Shade and Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery.

You should draw a pic with batman holding the joker by the collar up off the ground. With both of them staring into eachothers eyes... I know its kind of specific, but, hey, you asked for requests and its just something ive been picturing in my mind.

p.s.- you artworks great and i love your style

I don't "hate it" I just think with time and dedication,you can be a good artist.As far as "anything good to say" You have your own style and in comics,that's a big compliment.I'm just trying to be honest here and not gonna be like everyone else say say it's great to make you feel better.I'm a tough critic,but also wanted to give you a dose of reality,keep drawing,persistants goes a long way,art gives back what you put into it.

the smiley emoticon let you know that i am cool with the criticism. i'm not really here looking for people to make me feel better. i want to get some of my art out here and get some critiques and requests and suggestions...thanks for being honest!

One thing though... I think his lip on his good side should still sort of connect to the top of his mouth on his deformed side.

But other than that...Great Job!!

here's a scene...i imagined it as a gatefold type of thing... it's quite a bit bigger than the other ones, and, once again, i took the pics with my crappy phone.

just keep at it man, and you will go far.

i know your drawing DC, but marvel have put out some really good books too.

"how to draw comics the marvel way" is a good one

thanks for the encouragement! i'm having a blast drawing all of these...
i'm going out of town for a couple of shows ($750 for two shows, WOO HOO!!!) this weekend and i'm going to bring a sketchbook and draw the whole time!

i have the marvel book, it's totally awesome...
i'm just obsessed with batman and the joker right now...
give me a request for a marvel character and i'll draw the crap out of it!
or...at least...do the best i can.
