i've got a friend writing me a batman/joker story, so i've been drawing that a lot.
i actually doodled out some superman stuff, it was fun.
also, i draw as much random things as i can--things i see around me...lamps, chairs, people...just for use later.

The drawing is awesome, and the colors look great. The only thing I would change would be the blue. It looks just a little too deep.

Other than that, the whole thing has a very classic quality. I'm reading Batman: Black and White Volume 2, and this type of old fashioned art really fits that sort of off-center storytelling. The art may not work for a traditional superhero comic, but would definitely look great for a strange or quirky story.

i know his art is very divisive, but props to DC for having frank quietly do all star superman... i want art with character--stuff that stands out in unique ways...blah i don't know what i'm talking about.
