So Seth Rogan was caught smoking a joint in a bathroom at the Oscars.

I agree 100% PERCENT

It was reported on Stern today. Him and another actor were caught. They wouldn't disclose who the other actor was, but appearently he was snorting cocaine and Rogan was smoking a joint. They got caught by PA.

at least Rogen wasn't doing cocaine (or at least wasn't seen). I would be dissapointed actually if he did.

No, smoking pot in a bathroom isn't so much looked down on, but I'm curious as to who was with him snorting the coke. I'd hate to think it was Franco, but....those two were together the whole night and presenting together. But they wouldn't disclose that information, but since everyone knows Rogan tokes it up, it wouldn't hurt him.

I don't care if Rogen smoked a joint but i guess if the name of the other guy got leaked out, then it might hurt 'that' actor.

I hope it's not Franco too. Snorting coke is so Hollywood, and I don't see Franco being the Hollywood type.

Naw, I think it was more like he's at the Oscars, he's Seth Rogan, and he's going to get high at the Oscars, then when he watches his Tivo he can say "I was sooo high".

So what? He doesn't look like a handsome bachalor and he's an unproven quantity as a serious action hero. Unless he can do both perfectly he needs to be replaced by someone who can.

He does on comedy films he's totally unproven for GH. The franchise needs it's own Christian Bale, I doubt Seth is that actor.

Why should GH settle for Seth hen there are better actors who fit the role? He may have a healthy career but he didn't get there by being an action hero or a serious actor.

Why is his age relevant?

I get the feeling you're not a fan of Seth Rogan and hate the idea of a "fun" comic book movie. Green Hornet isn't a widely poplar, well known, or even considered 'great' comic book or character. To even consider having a movie about it is amazing to know. And I don't believe making it 'darker, serious, or epicish' is the way to go with the Hornet. Essensally Green Hornet is a fun character.

I'm not saying this film will be a comedy or spoof, but I don't think it's going to be dead serious and try to be a 'note worthy' film. It's not going to be Dark Knight, Superman Returns, X-Men, or Punisher...it's going to be Green Hornet and it's going to be a fun movie to watch.

Wah wah wah, he's not handsome enough, wah.

Either your just trying to find something to piss and moan about or you actually are a Green Hornet purist, in which case how are the 3 of you doing?

Seriousley, I have always loved The Green Hornet, I remember as a kid listening to a dollar store cassete tape of the old radio show, I must have listened to that tape over and over again.
And I loved the 60's tv show, as campy as it may have been.

But this isn't Batman or James Bond. This Indiana Jones or Superman. This is NOT an iconic character with a massive fanbase. He was a cult favorite decades ago and now, he is about to get the biggest bit of exposure he has had in over 40 years.

So what's it matter that Jude Law isn't The Green Hornet?
I would like a pulpy, noir-ish period peice as much as any GH fan, but that movie wasn't going to be made, never will.

Michal Gondry is an extremley talented film maker, this isn't going to be a Judd Apatow film so leave your pre-concieved notions at the door.

HAHAHA...I heard they meet on Friday's to discuss their hate of Seth Rogan.

I agree with you, it's not an Apatow film, so having that idea of Rogan and what 'those' films were like, is just flat out ignorant.

Britt Reid is not Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is a deep multi-demensional character, hence the decision for WB to cast Bale. Whats so special about Reid to warrent such an acclaimed actor??

Let me guess, you want the Christian Bale/Hugh Jackman built already been done before type-cast? Right?

actually no....but I'd like someone who has done at least some action or physical comedy before or at least has a bit of experience in those genres....and no Pineapple Express doesn't count....Im sure Rogen could write the hell out of it but he shouldn't be starring in it

Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day who by night goes out in his masked "Green Hornet" identity to fight crime as a vigilante, accompanied by his similarly masked Asian manservant Kato and driving a car, equipped with advanced technology, called "Black Beauty". The Green Hornet is often portrayed as a fair-to-above average hand-to-hand combatant and is often armed with a gun that sprays knock-out gas

Now if that doesn't sound like a copy-cat superhero, I don't know what else to say.

It's funny, how else do you get 'experience' in a action with without first being in an 'action' film??? Please, explain how?
