Gamemasters/Assistant Gamemasters already chosen: Well I don't at the moment cause I just got the idea. But I will add some.

How will the overall lay out of the RPG be?: It will be player driven. And it will follow the story of the Resident Evil series. Since this is my first RPG it will be a one shot. But if it works out than I'll expand it.

Premise of RPG: Well it's going to follow the Resident Evil story line. But the players will be able to change the story and recreate the characters to an extent. You will be able to play as any character in the series. Either it be from the games or movies. This RPG will take place in Raccon City and in the Mansion.

What will this RPG bring to the RPG forums: Another RPG with familiar characters and fun plot twist that the players can throw in.

Honestly, at this point I doubt if it will garner much interest since we've got a Movie RPG *which -might- cover the RE movies* and the Get Violent RPG *which -might- cover the Video Game*

However, give it time and patience and see who reacts.

Well cause you get to pick characters instead of creating this. Plus, everyone should know whats going on. But I see where you're going with this.

Yeah, characters and setting aside, it's pretty much just like the Zombie RPG. It would make more sense just to create RE characters in that RPG then to make a new zombie/horror game.

Course, that's just my opinion. Ultimately it's up to MB and Twy, and at least five other interested posters.

Yeah I kinda jumped the gun with this one. I had some ideas to make it different but I just threw it out there instead of thinking it through. If it doesn't work out than I'll just think of something new. I'm not all that worried about it.

I think you should allow both series and own-created characters or it will be very limited as there are a limit of Resident Evil characters.

And it different from the Zombie RPG in that the zombies in the Zombie RPG seems to have been created from a mysterious disease while the ones in this would be created from the T-Virus. Plus, your not limited to just zombies, as there are other creatures created from the T-Virus and G-Virus.

Yeah and if it made it past Raccon City than we could take it to a RE4 setting. Like instead of Leon going to get Ashley by himself he could bring a team. Him, Cris Redfeild, ect.

It also different in that you'll have characters that are trying to survive and those that are trying to uncover what's going on.

So, it seems like a mixture of Resident Evil: Outbreak and Resident Evil 1-3.

What you need are some guidelines and rules to help this idea out.

Thats what I'm still working out.

I was thinkin' that since the city was going to explode after a certain amount of time that people would have to get out or whatever before it blew up. Like every ten pages is an hour or something. But then again I'm not really sure yet.

That's an interesting idea, but not sure if it would work out so well. The problem with it is that everyone has there own pace in posting and lenght. So, ten pages can come by quickly or slowly.

Not really, as that RPG seem more of crossover from differnet Video Game characters into a specific plots while the focus of this RPG is soley on Resident Evil.

Not really, as in this RPG you wouldn't see Master Chief or Snake while in the Video Game RPG it seems like you would.

Okay, is it based solely off the RE Games? or off the movie? If it's the game I can see how it would work better, given it has all, what, 4? 5? 6? Games too draw on?

It goes to 4. and 4 is really the only official sequal thus far. The rest 1,2,3, and the outbreak all took place around the same time.

The movies are kinda a "what if" But thats why I wanted games and movie characters so people could change the characters and the story in ways. But still keep to the main point. Zombie outbreak, Umbrellas fault, city explodes.

There's also Code Veronica and Zero.

And I think 1,2,3 are consider sequel since even though they take place in Raccoon City they each have different stories.

Well, since Jinn is my best friend on AND off the Hype, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I advertised MY new RPG based on anime characters. I'm awaiting approval.

Well yeah. And I wasn't thinking of Code Veronica. And zero was kinda of a prequel. But like I said if you can come up with a story to why they're in raccon when they weren't or of that sort than you can play as them.

Yeah, Veronica wouldn't fit for your idea but Zero would actually fit fine, especially for anyone that is thinking of picking up Rebecca or Billy Coen.

Though I think it might help out more if you have a basic scenario of how the story is going to flow.
