Newsarama has the news that Wonder Woman will be made as a direct-to-DVD animated movie following Justice League: The New Frontier and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Here's a promotional piece for it:
![]() The target audience is kinda funny in that it omits boys 9-17. Oh, well, probably just a snafu. Anyway, the plot sounds good.

Well, that's one way to get a Wonder Woman movie. Sounds good.

I haven't heard anything about the Judas Contract film.
Does anyone know what it's supposed to look like. The Anime look would just kill it for me. |

It's being directed by Bruce Timm, so I'm sure it'll have the same sort of visual style as Superman: Doomsday. The script is by Marv Wolfman and Tom DeSanto, and it'll be PG-13.

Woah. This is the origin story...with Steve Trevor and everything...as an animated movie? A WW Begins...
Could this be official proof that they arent persuing a WW live action film anymore? She may just appear in JLA. |

They're kicking around the idea of a Kingdom Come animated movie. Now, that could be great.

It's good they decided an animation was best.

That should definantly be released in theaters. A story like that really deserves it. It would be neat to see a Ross/Timm mixture style of animation.

i hope they do well with the artwork though. one of KC's main pillars of strength was with Ross' work. if they go for something less impressive as that (due to costs and time constraints), an animated KC may have less impact compared to its GN counterpart.

Who is going to be animating it? And will this be the "Official" Wonder Woman movie?
Will it be like Disney level quality, I wish it was in theaters? I hope so, a comic book superhero animated film in theaters, thats what I have been hoping for. |

hmm. If this is the case, since age won't be affecting a live version, I vote for the one and only Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter to provide the voice.
A younger woman for a live action, yes. But animation, who is going to know the difference?

I hope this is the next DC animated movie and that it's very well made. I wonder who they will get to do the voices and what style of animation it will be.
It would have to be very bad looking for me not to buy it!

If they re-cast the role yet again, would you the common fans want a regular voice actress or some celebrity voice actress (i.e., someone like Lucy Lawless, perhaps even higher up)? |

I wouldnt mind Lynda Carter reprising the role that made her famous, but I certainly wouldnt object to Susan Eisenberg returning as well. As I enjoyed her work on the JL/JLU series.
