The Official CHRISTIAN BALE thread.
I haven't been follwowing the TDK as closely as i did BB, mainly because i don't want too much spoiled for me this time around. But every now and then a sneak a peek at some filming news;
I've noticed that there is very little reports (or none at all) of Christian Bale being on set.  I know the last flick he did (or believe he did) was Rescue Dawn, in which he once again starved himself down to an unhealthy size in order to give a better performance as a POW. Is the reason why we haven't seen alot of Bale because he hasn't reached his Batman size as yet? I know he's probably Bulking up like crazy. This is the only explaination i can think of with the lack of Bale reports. I read an article where Michael Caine said he was wrapping up 'his' part of the filming, so i know he had scenes with Bale.........

I'd heard (or read) that Rescue Dawn was filmed a few years back, as I remember it due to be released sometime in December 2006. So that's likely why he hasn't been on set. They might be trying to keep him away from fanboys who would start humping his leg on sight (like myself
 ).

umm, i dont think he is bulking up... they finished filimung that movie awhile back and christian had to start getting fit for TDK, they do this stuff months in advance so they can get filming underway. i think they have done a lot of shots at the shed in england and he is only set to do a few shots in chicago. Or they are doin a lot of interior work in chicago for bale's parts as bruce and batman.

Whoever does the effects work on the new Bat films should've used that motion capture technology Beowulf is using and just use Bale circa Empire of the Sun as the model for young Bruce Wayne. Lord knows a CGI creation would've been better than the little ****head that we got in the film. Thank God for the adults during the young Bruce Wayne scene.

Anyone ever notice the little growth next to Bale's eye way up high on his nose? Those things are so easy to get removed by a doctor or something and many other actors in his position would do so, but Bale hasn't. He's had in in all the movies I've ever seen him in, I believe.
I like that about him for some reason, I dunno.
