They have been popping up all over the place. Indianapolis, New York, Mexico City... all are now patrolled by men and women in masks and capes looking for crime to fight and wrongs to right. Now what has to be the most interesting subculture ever is getting a documentary, and it looks awesome.

I hope they aren't really fighting crime. From just the pictures i've seen they could all be beaten up by children. They have no chance.

Maybe if you're lucky you'll get to see one get his ass kicked on film.

Best quote ever: "I do this because women are weak. They are easily manipulated, and they need to be protected from themselves and most certainly from men and their ill intentions toward them."

Yeah I know.
I just found out about this culture a few months ago - the people who are dressing up and trying to be "real life superheroes." I thought it was pretty interesting, but it didn't sound like it was really living up to the comic book ideal - I mean, they don't seem to so much fight actual bad guys as they do ask people not to litter and help calm down drunks. Hadn't really thought about it again until this came up.

No powers, obviously. Otherwise they wouldn't be very "real life."
