Default Roger Ebert's Deathbed whine: "No more thumbs up/down, I want more money!"

Roger Ebert being a jag-bag.

I don't know, but Jag isn't going to like that term very much.

I know! Who the **** wants to watch Richard Roeper. For about 13 or 14 years I watched Siskel & Ebert/Ebert & Roeper every weekend. But this past year I have barely watched the show. I only watch when its an interesting guest critic like Kevin Smith a few months back.

They gave X-Men: The Last Stand two thumbs up. Croak it, Ebert.

Well they showed the first show without the thumbs yesterday. To be honest didn't really miss it. I hope they fire Ebert, & replace him. That would be awesome!

it's an entertaining film, in spite of the crappy plot developments.

I thought Kevin Smith was pretty good. I do agree though a lot of the guest hosts come off as pretentious.

But Roeper is young. He is going to have to face the fact that Ebert will die eventually, & he will have to replace him. Why not now?

From UrbanDictionary.com
Jag Bag
1. a statement which describes the unfortunate, the sorry, or the lowly, but not as to demean the person. the term "jag bag" is generally used as a term of endearment - a way to let them know they are down, but not out.

2. someone who is doing something unintelligent.

3. by adding -ing can also be used as a verb. "he's jag bagging around." meaning the person is wasting too much time doing something stupid.

Ditto... Of course it had many things that bugged me but overall it wasn't as bad as some people like to make it out to be.

So.. he said he felt the first was offer was too low and then demanded that the "thumbs" be removed. I see no difference.

Roeper acts like he's sucking up to Ebert. The entertaining thing about Siskel was the arguing they would get into.

Roeper sucks cause he's not a real movie critic. He's a columnist. He is a columnist preteneding to be a critic, so he can be on TV every week.
