I b'lieve that was something that Sega had released themselves as a companion to the games. I know that it's not part of either the Archie or Fleetway series (as a matter of fact, Archie never really bothered with explaining how Sonic got his super-speed in the first place)

Yeah I can not remember where I saw it.

I think he fused with a chaos emerald or something like it.

I thought Sonic's Orgin is Underground was terrible. Him mostly being a prince in all was weird.

I just picked up a new issue of this months Sonic and this months art was terrible! I can draw Sonic better than these guys and Im just starting to learn how to draw Sonic! I didn't even buy it because how cheap it was! The only thing cool in the whole thing was Manic being in it...
