Well, this year I went to DL 07 and I'm so glad I did! Besides from testing products, getting freebies, and signing up for prizes, at the Microsoft booth, you were allowed to play Gears of War and Crysis on the PC. After someone got off the comp, I quickly started the campaign of Gears. The controls were nice and easy to use. The game ran nicely too. I also verified that Gears of War is not Vista required. For Crysis, It looked outstanding! The game was so intense that the computer was lagging!! Here are some screens:

Gears was always stated to be an XP compatible game. im looking forward to finally playing it and seeing what all the hoopla was about.

I didn't really like Gears of War on the 360, so I doubt I'll pick it up anyways. Did you find out if they were adding any dx10 improvements to it when you were there?

Gears is supposed to be DX10 enabled
