Is Takezo Kensei REALLY Mr. Petrelli?

This interesting theory of mine started after seeing the picture of the NINE in "Chapter 4: The Kindness of Strangers" and how Mr. Petrelli's face was mysteriously blurred (as he was turning around).

Some say that Mr. Petrelli's power it to travel at superspeed and that the picture cuaght that.

I however, feel he is Kensei. As he regenerates, he ages very slowly.

It could explain Claire's powers. His power may have skipped a generation and passed it on to the first born Petrelli grandchild.

This could also explain his "many suicide attempt's" that Angela stated he tried!!!

Papa Petrilli had no powers in the online comic. Linderman actually healed him iirc.

Then why was he a part of the NINE. All the members in the NINE had powers I believe. I read the online comic to. That doesn't mean he didn't have powers, he may have chosen just not to use them.

No, he didn't have them. I'm not saying he couldn't have manifested them later, but at the point depicted in the comic he had no abilities, so he couldn't be Kensei. And the guy in the photo didn't look like David Anders from what I saw.

What if Mr. Petrelli's powers shut down for a while (sounds like a stretch, but if he is Kensei...he has had powers since 1671).

And you were able to make out a face in the blurr side shot??? It is clear that they (Tim Kring and company) didn't want us to see who Mr. Petrelli is just yet.

I'm sticking to my theory for now...thanks for your thoughts...keep them coming.

I'm still sticking with my theory of Kensei being the killer for reasons I stated in the Hooded Killer thread.

As for him being Papa Petrelli,looks too tall in the pic,Anders is a short dude.

Looking at this photo and thinking about this season is reminding me of Gen 13...anyone remember that comic?!? They were all "Gen Active" due to their parents. Weren't they (the parents) called "Gen 12" or some group with the number 12 in it.

If this is so, is everyone in this picture related to one of our main stars? Of course, this does not answer the question to were the other heroes of the world come from, but it's a start.

Is Sylar's dad in there some where??

I think the black woman on the left if DL's mom.

And the man sitting next to Charles Deveaux could be the Wonder Twins' (Maya and Alejandro) dad. Okay, maybe that's a stretch...

You could be onto..something,...Ya know, DL's mom was in an episode in season 1...I can't remember exactly what she looked like. Who's Micah staying with, BTW? Is that DL's great-aunt? She looks like she knows something..

Didn't think of that. Hmmm... But wouldn't Nate know of him since he is older and would have been around to see his mom be pregos?

What about Shaft being DL's dad? There seems to be a "we all are connected" vibe. Then Mica's cousin with power would be another connection.

Click to Read!: I heard (from E!'s TV watcher who gets the scoops) that Kensei is going to make another appearence on the show, but not in the past. He is going to be a man who has lived to the present time (very very old) and may be related to Claire Bennet somehow. Also, I thought I heard that Nathan's dad was revealed to have actually been murdered.
