These pop up ever month or so, and I thought I would do it this time.....I just love Dan Slott...I read anything Marvel with his name on it....I'll read Anything DC as well...thought I hope he never goes away from Marvel.
The guy is a genius and a fan.....and he rocks. I was just reading this interview about The Initiative....that's what brought this on. http://comics.ign.com/articles/827/827251p1.html I love that Kirkman called Slott and asked him to use the new Ant man...."Don't let them Black Goliath him"

Because he has said that he cannot write more than two books at a time without running late. Right now he is on A.I. and is prepping for Amazing Spider-Man.

Dan Slott is the John Cassaday of writers.

Except Cassady's books are late whereas by managing his time Slott is always on time. Therefore your analogy doesn't really work.

Slott's books are notoriously late as well. Just ask Breevort.

Since Dan actually reads and posts here, isn't this post a form of brown nosing?

Dan be da man. Period. NO ONE embraces comic history, continuity and characterization like he does, hands down.
I don't give a crap how good a writer is, if they can't even follow what came before them.

Since I pretty much ignored most of Civil War, my only familiarity with Dan Slott is his DC work. Which generally rocks. Oh and The Thing. God that was a solid run.

It was one of those touching series that rather than a MTU where people just fight and team up you actually get a sense that some of these guys are friends and are like normal friends at times having dinner or whatever and not just trading quips.

Dan Slott is along with Ed Brubaker the best Marvel has to offer.
