Default Marvel Zombies?

Does anyone know if this film could work? I was just thinking about it before. It could be pretty neat if done by the right people. And, at the end, you could have Bruce Campbell poke his head in for five seconds (to indicate what comes next, lol!)

Zombie films usually have alot of characters, and you could just have a bunch of zombies in costume and display their powers. Think back to the scene in X-3 with the army of mutants (only better, of course!). Plus, as the comic is short, you could have a close adaption to it and thus retain the awesomeness of the original comic along with the fun of live action.

Anyone else think this would work out?

it would never be done live action because of the rights of certain characters being held by different companies. but an animated dtv would be awesome, and i've been hoping for the past few months that marvel would announce that.

Live action would never happen. Animated on the other hand ... I would welcome that with open arms.

I agree with the posts above, animation is the only way to bring this story to life.

I would love an animated DTV. Since Marvel Zombies has been selling great is possible. They can have one DTV for Marvel Zombies/MZ: Dead Days and the second DTV could be Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness, with Bruce Cambell voicing Ash.

I wouldn't. We'd probably get a bunch of 'cool' kids against some 'scary' Marvel Zombies in a dungeon or something, with pretty poor animation.

Why can't Marvel give us the PROPER goods?

Why would we get a bunch of cool kids fighting marvel zombies in a dungeon? I would think atleast an attempt to remain somewhat faithful to the original source would occur with an animated film, and not a complete revamp.

The zombie fad will hopefully end before such a movie could be made.

have you actually read the books, or are you just against them because they're popular and you're hoping to sound cool and anti-fad by dissing them? Cause you dont. You just sound like an idiot who has no taste and doesnt get the joke.

Yeah, I'm a rebel. I don't play by anybody's rules but my own. So don't ask me.

No, wait, the zombie thing is played out. I was right all along.

how is it played out? there's been 2 mini-series, and a one shot...ok, it had the arc in UF4 where it started, and they were in 3 issues of Black Panther too...and then a new mini has started...not exactly like we're getting Marvel Zombies every week or something.

I guess Spider-Man is played out too, I mean really, he has 3 books going on at the same time! that's way too much, and it's getting old!

also, kinda hard for zombies to be considered a fad since the idea of zombies has been around since the 60's...this is just the first time it's been used in this kind of way, with them as the main characters.

And you never answered my question about having read the books, so I'm gonna go right ahead and assume you havent, cause other than "it's a fad! it's played out!" you seem to know nothing about them.

Assume whatever you want. Why should I care?
