1) Nope. Part of WB is being stupid (IMO), because they've pissed off Chris Nolan so much that he won't be returning for another Batman.

2) I don't think so. Kurtzman and Orci seem to be interested in writing a script for MoS. I think the biggest issue is simply the writer's strike.

I haven't seen it, but if it is as fun as it looks, it's not a bad thing.

Bay is partly responsible for the souless Transformers.

Hopefully, Singer will have enough input and good aesthetic choices to keep the movie a visual feast after the initial viewing.

The movie doesn't need to be Shakespeare. Just compelling.

I wasn't thrilled with Transformers, but the one thing that movie had in spades was action, and that's something SR lacked. So that in and of itself is a step up.

If these two are writing MoS then I'm happy. Transformers was one of the best movies I've seen this year. They've also written "The Island" which I didn't think was a bad movie.

Exactly. It was fun as hell. And souless? Nooooo. I thought it had a lot more soul than SR did. The main characters talked, theplot had a lot more movement than in SR, and a hell of a lot more action.

Transformers was a better movie than Superman Returns. Not that it was a masterpiece, but Returns just sucked that badly.
