Tyrese Gibson/Luke Cage

Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman

Not bad. I think Tyrese is surprisingly entertaining on film.

I would definately say no to Dicaprio as Iron Man.

I'd rather have Marsters. He's a damned good actor, and I'd bet that he's better than Statham.

I don't know who I would cast, but I definately wouldn't make my Avengers line up out of members that have or can carry their own movies. Thus no Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, or Black Panther. People(non fans) would be confused with the inevitable different creative takes and continuity problems created by all the different director's of these established movie characters.
My team for an Avengers movie would be:

Giant Man
Wasp
Scarlet Witch
Quicksilver
Vision
Hawkeye

He has been named for Cap a lot but i think Mark Valley would be a better hawkeye.

Black Panther - Djimon Hinsou
Captain America - Jason Lewis
Iron Man - Johnny Depp or Oded Fehr
Thor - Viggo Mortensen or Karl Urban
Quicksilver - Heath Ledger
Scarlet Witch - Milla Jovovitch
Hawkeye - James Marsters

Good Black Panther

For Thor I would tend to go more Karl Urban just because I like Viggo for Aquaman or maybe Green Arrow.

I also think James Marsters might be a better Quicksilver than Hawkeye.

Billy Zane
Jude Law
JOhnny Depp
Oded Fehr

and then some random actor a poster thinks is way underrated(not bashing, I've got my own)

Maybe this makes him the easiest to please since theres so many choices. I think Billy Zane would be best, personally.

y'know, I know Lewis is a dead on choice for Cap as far as the looks go (though I'd prefer him for Thor), but I've recently seen a movie with him... it's this horrible Z movie and he is, like everyone else, awful in it. I don't trust his acting "skills" to give him the part of Cap.

Personally, I'd have The Avengers act as a sequel to Thor, Captain America, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and The Hulk all at the same time. And, I'd base the plot on The Ultimates, simply because it lends itself to a screen adaptation so very well.

Well, not many people with a huge build are very good actors. And Mortensen is pretty ripped. He's hardly scrawny.
