Anyways everyone knows my choice by now is Dennis Haysbert. Great voice, could be done with makeup/CGI

edit : Since Darkseid would certainly be done with a lot of make-up and prothesis or CGI, I would say the actor himself doesn't need to look like Darkseid.

My top pick would be Dennis Haysbert (from 24, The Unit and Major League). He's big. He's intimidating. He's got a voice like a tuba. And, he's a reasonably good actor.

Also like the idea of Liam Neeson as Zod.

How about Michael Chikilis who played Ben Grimm The Thing from "Fantastic 4 Part 1 and 2" to play Darkseid ?

Darkseid tells Kalibak to destroy Superman and makes him a slave first Kalibak will go to earth and kidnap Superman and throw him into the dungeons of Apokolips and become bait to his Giant Monsterous Pets. He creates a Game of Life and Death to see How these Monsters can destroy or eat Superman.

The only person i can ever imagine playing the terror from apokolypse is Michael Clarke Duncan. He is the right height and voice and as seen can play the strength, dedication and the darker side of a character. I would love to see Michael play Darkseid in the movie.
