I don't think it's coincidence that these 5 teams or heroes have the biggest movie franchises and some of the most successful runs in comic book history. They all have great villain line-ups and you can trace many villain storylines in other books to these original five. However, if you don't agree with the choices, simply pick "other" and give us your choice.
X-Men -- Magneto, Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, Hellfire Club, Mystique, Sabretooth, Juggernaught, Dark Phoenix, etc. Batman -- Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Bane, Two Face, Ra's Al Ghul, etc. ![]() Superman -- Lex Luthor, Doomsday, Brainiac, Bizarro, General Zod, Darkseid, Mr. Mxyzptlk, etc. ![]() Spider-Man -- Green Goblin, Kraven, Venom, Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Lizard, Scorpion, Rhino, Kingpin, Hobgoblin, Electro, Sandman, etc. ![]() Fantastic Four -- Galactus, Thanos, Skrulls, Doctor Doom, Terrax, Mole Man, etc. ![]() Other choices? Daredevil has some cool enemies, although many spawn off from the Spider-Man storylines. Green Lantern has Sinestro. Justice League has some nifty enemies, although many relate to Superman. Hulk has some original bad guys. |

You know, having Galactus in your "villan lineup" speaks about a team.

Superman has an incredibly weak rogues gallery.
Thor, however, has an incredible one.

Spidey has the awesomest villains of all time. Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Venom, Carnage, Rhino, Shocker, Kingpin... Not to mention the countless D-list villains that were created to fight Spidey.
Batman has a lot of villains but IMO they just cannot compare with Spidey's villains. The Riddler for example, is a guy obsessed with crime and asking riddles. What the ****? And he's one of the more respectable Batman villains...

It was hard to choose between the X-men and Spider-man, but I had to go with Spidey.

fantastic four probably has the heaviest of hitters but batman's is definitely the most interesting.
spidey's should be good on paper, but they are really poor apart from 2 to 3 villains tops |

My pick goes to Spider-Man, though it feels like they are seldo ever used anymore. It use to be that they were as much a part of his book as he was, but now it's all Spider-Man and the new dangerous foe of the day (and random movie badguy appearances)

I voted Spider-Man, but Batman is close. My main problem is that many of his villains feel redundant... or this character likes to steal Bird related items instead of cat related ones. Superman on the other hand only has one or two memorable villains.. the ones that come to mind are Luthor and Myx...

I think I've actually come to prefer the Avengers' rogues gallery more than any other. Kang, Ultron, Korvac, the entire Kree race, the entire Skrull race, Dr. Doom (occasionally), the Masters of Evil, Loki, etc. What's not to love?

Captain America/Avengers. Skull. Zemo. Masters of Evil. Wrecking Crew. Got to love 'em. Spider-Man's got some cool and creative villains.
