Default The Supernatural War RPG Season I IC/Game thread

The
SUPERNATURAL
War

Gamemasters:
Climperoonie - Werewolf/Head GM
Spidey's Super fan - Human GM
Catman_prb - Vampire GM

Rules:
  • For now, you may NOT have more than one character.
  • If you wish to be a Human, then change your mind after posting, you must RE-APPLY as a Werewolf or Vampire, then have your Human be bitten by a Werewolf or Vampire.
  • If you are unhappy with just being a normal Werewolf, Vampire or Human, there are variants, such as the Skinless Werewolf (See the Werewolf section of racial stats for more info)
  • Normal Hype! rules apply
  • Have fun!

*If I have missed anything out, could my fellow GMs notify me please, as this is my first created RPG.

The Story of the War:
Long ago, the head Vampire create a creature like no other. It was a wolf, but it could stand on it's hind legs and had limbs like Humans and Vampires. It was a vicious beast, ruthless and very strong. The Vampires used to train against it, treating it like a punching bag. But, like most animals, it evolved. Physically, it didn't evolve much different. But mentally, it became smarter. Much Smarter. It realised it could be much more than a living punching bag for Vampires. It broke free of it's chains, and ran. The Vampires were not worried. There was only one, and one alone. However, the head vampire had made one mistake whilst engineering it: It had accidently passed on the ability to bite people and turn them to their own kind. As the conflict came into the 21st century, humans were noticing. This chain of events started the Supernatural War.
So, my friends, allow yourselves to be bitten and become a superior being like a Werewolf or Vampire, or stay as a Human and fight us with your Petty guns and swords.

Racial Stats:
VAMPIRES:
The Vampires are very civallized, like the ones from Underworld, but more evil. Think Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter. They all share the same hatred for Werewolves, and couldn't care less about Humans. They do however, respect Human's civallized manner, so they generally go undercover when hunting Werewolves in a crowded place. They would only bite a uman were the numbers in their squad that has been sent out against the wolves go low. All Vampires (Bar the leader) hate Sunlight. If they wanna go out in daytime, it either has to be so stormy the sun is blotted out by clouds, or they have to wear sunglasses and one of those face cloths that people wear in the desert, gloves over their hands, and some kind of neck protector. Their only other weakness is being torn apart by a Werewolf (Though because Vampires are really good fliers, they will fly out of the way most of the time if this is attempted).
WEREWOLVES:
The Werewolves are kind of civallized. When someone is bitten, if they do not seek out the Werewolf clan straight away, the Leader will place bad dreams in the person's head, so that they then will seek out the Werewolf clan. When Werewolves have their first transformation (In this, they transform every night), they become the bloodthirsty beasts that have no memories or anything, and would just slaughter everything. On their third transformation, they keep their memories and Human personalities, but feel more evil. Fifth, they can start to morph at will. But, by the fifth Transformation, the strain in the Werewolves' genes that makes the person come to hate Humans and Vampires will have taken effect. Werewolves can be killed by humans if they are shot in the heart ten times with a silver bullet in the space of one minute (Though because Werewolves are really fast, this has not yet been accomplished). The only other way [Note: This does not work on the Leader] is to shoot the Human after the fifth transformation (Although after the fifth Transformation, they bascally stay Werewolves). Shoot them before, and a skinless horrifying Werewolf-beast will burst from the corpse and rip you to shreds.

And now, for your ascent into Fame, the applications for you joing the ranks of the armies. If you wish to become a beast of pure nightmare, a Werewolf, fill in this simple form:

I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride,
With sword and pistol by my side.
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade

The Barn, just off route 62 near El Paso, Texas.

She had noticed him the moment he had walked in. She'd have to get rid of her current customer, a very good "tipper", but it'd be worth it. Slowly, she moved across the tavern to the man sitting alone at the edge of the bar. He had put his hat on the bar and was throwing back straight shots of whiskey.

"Howdy, stranger."

He looked to her incrediously and then turned back to his drink.

"Won't you buy a gal a drink?"

He looked at her again, now a small smile forming on his mouth.

"Bartender, get this girl a drink will you?"
"Oh, not just a girl, mister. I'm a woman," she said as her hand slid down her body, accentuating her curves. She put on her most dazzling smile and let the slightest hint of arousal into her voice. The bartender shook his head. She was really putting on the act.

"Maybe you've been stuck with little girls all your life, but this woman can show you what love is, baby." Yep, she was really pouring it on. The bartender couldn't figure out why, since nothing about the man had suggested any particular wealth. Maybe she wasn't in it to make money this time.
"You know what it is to love, babe?" she asked, now stroking his hair.

He looked towards her amused.

"Lady, there's only two things in this life that I love, and that's Jack and Suzy."
"Jack and Suzy? Who are they?" she asked, surprised.
"Jack's the name of this drink," the man said, pointing towards his glass.

"And Suzy? Suzy's the name of my gun."

“So, what’s your name?” the hooker asked, sitting against the bedpost with a cigarette. The man ignored, putting on his trousers again. He too smoked a cigarette, taking a long drag from it as he walked over to the window of the dingy motel room. His hand played lightly with the cord of the curtains.

“Oh, honey, don’t do that. Come here. We’ll pretend like it was last night.”
“You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
“Oh yeah…” she moaned as she pulled away the curtains, inviting him onto the bed again.

He returned to her, giving her a fierce kiss as his hands roamed her body. They settled on her hands and he lifted them roughly to the bedpost. She smiled. “You like it rough, don’t you?” she asked, amused, as he took a pair of handcuffs from the cabinet beside the bed. She moved to entangle him with her legs, but he moved away.

“C’mon baby, you can’t leave me here.”

He smiled as he returned to the window.

“Baby?”

The man tugged at the cord and the curtains sprang open to reveal the bright sunlight that came with the noon hour. The light streamed into the room and the hooker let loose with a deafening screech. She was writhing on the bed, trying to keep away from the light and starting to scream in pain.

“You don’t need to do this. You know I can make it worth your while. Just get me loose,” she tried to persuade him, but it was in a vain. The man stood still as the woman before slowly started to burn. Her completely naked form bathed in the sunlight as she struggled with the handcuffs. The air started to fill with the smell of burning flesh.

After about ten minutes, only a smouldering carcass was left. Soon, it would be a skeleton, and then ash.

The man moved over to the body, using the last remaining fire to light a new cigarette.

The city of Lawton, Oklahoma.

The man walked along the snow-covered streets. His appearance, the fedora hat, the long trench coat, was startling, but not too out of the ordinary. Passer-by’s thought of him as either a vagrant or Matrix/Indiana Jones wannabe and paid him no heed. The anonymity despite his appearance pleased the man.

He had arrived in the city last night and had noted a distinct lack of vampires. It seemed that here in America, the vampires hid. They didn’t make themselves as known as they had in Mexico. Now, Mexico, that had been a tough place. One bar in particular, just clear of the border, had provided him trouble. He’d never forget, as if he could with all of his scars, about the place called “the Titty Twister”.

But if vampires really were more cultured in America, than this definitely meant the man would have to speed up his journey to New York. He’d get out of Lawton by the night and get back on Route 62 as fast as possible. He could be in New York in just a few days. The man had smiled at the thought. In fact, he hoped the rumours were true, that the vampires in America had built a structured, centralized and highly elite organization, because it would provide a challenge.

And he liked a challenge.

The city of Buffalo, New York.

It was raining heavily as the sounds of battle could be heard in the night. In one of the many alleys that could be found in Buffalo, the Highwayman was fighting a vicious beast. It had already laughed, or rather roared at, a dozen bullets. The man had already discarded Suzy, his shotgun, and was now battling the monster with a set of long silver knives. The blades were only marginally more successful than the gun.

The man lodged one of the knives in the werewolf’s neck, and the beast roared in pain. It reached out instinctively, swatting the man away. The man grunted as he felt his cracked ribs. An eerie smile returned on his face as he saw the wolf struggling to remove the knife from his neck. The beast’s claws could not properly enclose around the weapon. There was only solution: to return to human form, take the knife out and quickly revert to werewolf status.

The werewolf slowly shed its skin.

The Highwayman reached for his gun.

The now human werewolf grabbed the knife.

The Highwayman fired the gun.

As the silver bullet penetrated the human’s skull, he transformed, and the werewolf roared. It now had a silver bullet lodged in his brain, severely impeding his mental abilities. The beast started to foam at the mouth and keeled over, twitching on the wet, cold street. The Highwayman slowly rose from his place and could see the werewolf struggling against the seizure. He would not last much longer.

The following day, the Highwayman had a new pair of boots.

Made of werewolf skin.

Shrike walked down the dark deserted street, where a foul wind was blowing litter around in little circles. He leant heavily on his cane, and looked like a particularly weak old man, with grey hair tied back in a pony tail. His long cape billowed about him, as he made his way to a grey concrete building on the street corner. The buildings windows were borded up with planks of wood, and covered in graffiti. Shrike looked at it with distaste, before entering the building.

He hobbled up the rickety staircase, which smelt faintly of blood and gore. The tapping of his cane on the stone floor repeated over and over again like a drum beat. Eventually he reached the top of the staircase and entered a delapidated room, where blood covered the walls, and littered the floor. Shrike heard a faint shuffling in one corner.

"Shuck? Shuuuck?" he called out in a sing song voice.

"Come out little Shuck. Come and talk to me. Why have you been hiding Shuck? Why don't you come out and play anymore?" Shrike said. Through the gloom he saw a fast moving human form.

"Ah Shuck...how the mighty have fallen...So, taking on the form of a, what did you call them, 'Vapid waste of perfectly good flesh', Shuck?" Shrike shouted into the gloom.

SHUCK
That's it. I snap and leap at Shrike, turning from Human to Werewolf in a splitsecond. I take him by suprise, pushing him to the ground.

"Hrnn, fallen, have I? What about you, Shrike?" I snarl at him. "Being stupid enough to accidently give me the power to add others to my race? The Werewolves are almost as many as the Vampires!"

I throw back my head in a maniacle howl of laughter.
