Not really true or false. Atheists - do not believe in GOD.

This is not to say they discard everything they do not believe.

An atheist examines (or at least should examine) everything through reason. If something fails to be reasonable it should not be followed, be it a law, a custom, a tradition, a philosophy or a religion.

But seriously the definition of an atheist has nothing to do with reason. It is simply one word to describe a persons view on the belief in GOD. Whether or not that person used reason to make that belief or not does not matter.

The fact of the definition states simply that an atheist does not believe in GOD.

They may have a reason for this they may not. That is just how it is.

angels do have free will (Jude 1:6), but their situation for their consequences is different compared to us (Matthew 25:41)
