And by initial script reports, he means some random guy on imdb who at first lifted every bit of information he gave from hisstank and El Mayimbe's review. I never bothered to point this out because I knew no one would listen, but every bit of info he came out with(for the most part) he released when Destro and El Mayimbe were answering questions, and it usually correpsonded to something they had already said. He finally came out with two bits of info that were confirmed later- the power suit sequence(which I was inclined to think he got lucky on, as it was in the Lovett/Ellison draft), and the Duke/Baroness relationship, confirmed by the set pics.

Then Destro at hisstank, who reviewed the script, said Scarlett is with Snake-Eyes but that Ripcord is constantly hitting on her:

So somebody's lying. I always found it suspicious that the guy on imdb pissed and moaned about everything in the script, but acted like he didn't care that Scarlett got with Ripcord- as if he knew he didn't have to say anything more to get people worked up.

3bp might indeed have the script- but he's so open about how much he disliked it that I wouldn't put it past him to lie and embellish.

I'm inclined to answer, "Yes, as GI Joe was around first in the comic, which you as a hardcore fan should know."

I may be wrong- maybe Destro was trying to quell an argument without being a Nazi-mod and simply shutting a thread down. But 3bp comes off as the least trustworthy, reading his posts.

Having read 3BP's posts and PM's, he was pretty upset about the Scarlett/Snake Eyes situation. And I don't really believe DESTRO all that much. If he's also a nazi-mod, I'd sooner believe he was trying to quell the argument.

(SIGH) Duke was my favorite character and I think I have to come to terms with the idea he won't be my favorite in the film. Hopefully, I'll still think Snake Eyes and Destro are cool by the end of the film.

They are monotonous, but i think they'll look cool in motion. I'm more exited about the Cobra roster than the Joe characters as far as looks go.
