It's a shame that McFarlane is still blowing money on that crap - Spawn jumped the shark over 150 issues ago.

Nope. I read Spawn till about '98 and then decided to stop. After that, I believe the only thing related to Spawn I ever paid attention to was the 2nd and 3rd seasons of Spawn on HBO.

yeah... I thought it ended... back in the 90s.
although a while ago I read that spawn was going to die. and... basically my reaction was "he's still alive?!"

I've always thought that Spawn would have made a good finite series (75 issues or so) but I just got bored waiting for something to happen.
