The Toybiz Batman wasn't just a repaint. It's very different from the Super Powers Batman. Also, Toybiz lost the license to Kenner who made a much larger line of action figures(though it was all repaints of Batman and two Jokers). The Kenner Keaton Batman figure actually is very similar to the Super Powers figure, however, but with a few details from the movie suit added as well as Keaton's likeness.

I'd say it's a production still.

So he had to keep his mouth open the whole time himself? I thought there were hooks pulling his cheeks back covered up with the prosthetics.

You shouldn't watch those scary Hellraiser films, Rodrigo.

He could more-or-less close his mouth, he does so in the movie a few times (and briefly) I think. It was just difficult.

This has gotten to me for damned years. I've never been able to figure the answers, because I basically don't think that it's possible in the slightest. It was on the B89 VHS.

He closed his mouth in the movie, but he was never not smiling behind the prosthetic. It must have been a weird experience, but his face looked phenomenal. I still find it interesting to just look at his face in full make-up. It catches and holds your attention. Props to the man who designed the make-up, I forget his name. I believe he committed suicide soon after Batman.

To me, that remains the finest Joker scene on film.

In my opinion, Joker dancing around to Prince's Partyman, defacing art, and knocking statues off their stands, is definitely his finest moment.

Well, another thing the kids love today is Batman. Did you see the new Christian Bale ones?
Yeah, I did. They’re beautifully, beautifully done—especially The Dark Knight, the Heath Ledger one. It was cinematically beautiful, and very well-written. But I’m still very proud that I was in the first one.

Maybe it’s just because it’s the one I grew up with, but to me, the first Batman will always be THE Batman.
Oh, me too. Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson? Listen, if I were an audience member I’d say the same thing. Where do you go from Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson? You don’t get better than that.

Some serious dueling eyebrows.
And Michael Keaton, I love him in that scene with Vicky Vale when she says, “Look, you can tell me anything! It’s OK. Are you married? Oh my god, are you married?!” And he goes, “N-n-n-no, b-b-b-but,” and he’s trying to say Batman. Nobody could deliver that better than Michael Keaton. Nobody.

There were so many great Joker scenes in B89, it's hard to choose a favorite.
