My boy is missing his Europe gig due to bronchitis, but he's always been the guy that's there, but never really there as far as the music scene. Mama Said and 5 are his two best.

I like 5, 'cause with all the criticism he's gotten for essentially just aping Jimi Hendrix, 5 was an album that really sounded like he tried to do something different to his previous albums. Mind you, I think he was always that versatile, and some people just never really paid attention until 5. At this point, some people were still surprised he co-wrote and produced Madonna's "Justify My Love".
