Aliens: Colonial Marines

Let's discuss the new next-gen Aliens game coming out in 2009.
Game Informer has a cover story on this game. I haven't gotten my issue yet.
I might get this game depending on if it's just a shoot-em up (yes) or a horror (no). I don't like horror games which is why I don't want Bioshock.
I personally hope it's like AVP for the PC where there's multiple stories (one for Marines & one for Aliens) & online multiplayer.

EDIT: Crap I wanted this to be in the Multiplatform section. If a mod reads this please put it in there.

I am looking forward to this. The graphics looks nice and polished.

It's going to be a co-op FPS with the players being a squad of Colonial Marines. Up to 4 players. Players can customize their kits and load-outs. So you can have standard grunts, smartgunners, engineers, etc.

If this game is even half as badass as the old AVP games, it will rock.

My friends and I are already assigning squad positions - I called dibs on the Smartgun

Awesome details from OPM UK

- One of the early levels has you inside the ship from the end of Aliens AFTER Aliens, so you see all the damage the Queen and Ripley made in their fight etc.

- Interactive cutscenes as Aliens drag you into vents, using the D-PAD but requires more focus and skill than God of War or Resident Evil 4.

- Variety in missions like the a scene resembeling the Alien assualt scene. You basically have the turrets (awesome!) and your squad mates and you have to focus where the Aliens can come out from.

- While the blood won't dissolve everything, Gearbox are still looking in to how to impliment it.

Okay, best point for last...

- 4 PLAYER CO-OP
