I think Batman & Robin is a fun and entertaining movie...not because it's "so bad it's good". I mean, it's funny and all, but I when I watch it, I try to have the same mindset I had when I was a kid. "Oh no, Mr Freeze is going to destroy the world!" or "Wow, great action scenes. Batman is a badass".

I get why some hate it, but I don't think people should be ashamed to admit that they like Batman & Robin...it's harmless fun.
I have a good time laughing at it but im not able to do what you do lol, because even as a little kid i didnt think the action was great or "oh no Mr Freeze is gonna destroy the world!". I thought it was stupid haha.

Man, this movie...What it meant for my beloved Batman. Even as a kid I knew I had seen something awful. After exiting the theater, I realized it was possible not to love a Batman movie.

I avoided seeing Batman & Robin for years because of the bad reviews. But if it isn't a massive guilty pleasure of mine.. I don't know what is.

I believe he does it to confuse or hypnotize his enemies. I want something like that in Superman vs Batman...Batman moving his head like Ray Charles.

We see a pair of glowing eyes bounce around in the darkness.

Thug: "Oh no, it's Batman! Shoot him! Hurry!"

Thug 2: "Oh, why can't he just keep his head still?"

That would be incredible. He could also avoid Darkseid Omega beams by bobbling his head like that.

Batman learned it in Tibet (as usual).

Old warrior monk: "NYAAAGgghrrrraah! *twitching, shaking*"

Bruce Wayne: "...and what do you call that trick?"

Monk: "Low back pain, mr Wayne!"

Bruce Wayne: "Lau bak pein? Interesting..."

This movie ... I enjoy this movie the same way I enjoy movies like The Room, Troll 2, and Showgirls. Especially Showgirls. Batman & Robin and Showgirls are practically the same movie, based on the look of the film.

Seriously, though: I know a lot of people hold a lot of anger towards this movie still, but I don't anymore. I think Nolan's Batman Trilogy was more than enough to make up for it, so I've let go of the anger and learned to laugh at B&R. Uma Thurman's Mae West impersonation may be one of my favorite "awesomely bad" things ever.

I have a story about when I saw this in theaters: I was almost 11 years-old when this came out to theaters. I knew that what I was watching wasn't a good movie even then. At one point in the movie (I believe it was the part where Poison Ivy was dancing in the gorilla suit), this dude walked out of his seat towards the direction of an exit and shouted "THIS MOVIE SUCKS!" before he walked out. I am not making this up.

At age 7... I smiled.

I can just imagine all the 25 year old fanboys in 1997 feeling like they were just kicked in the nads.

You should watch Nostalgia Critic's review of this film. Lots of fun...

That's hilarious. I bet there were all kinds of scenarios like that back in 97.

Yup I saw some walk outs back in the day. Grown ups not kids. Probably expecting or hoping the movie would be more serious than BF was heh.

At 3/4 years old, I absolutely loved this movie.

I still have pictures from what my bedroom looked like at that age, it was covered it posters from the movie.

I remember watching it in theaters with my mom and after it was over, I was waiting at the bus stop with her when some old lady gave me a huge book/magazine of some sort with tons of posters, etc from the movie and it all got cut out and went up in my room.

Even remember I memorized an entire scene from the movie at one point.

Obviously, I realize today it is a terrible movie, but it remains as a guilty pleasure.

I would also like to take this time to thank Uma Thurman for allowing me to figure out I'm straight at a young age.
