I would like to see Polaris and Havok on seperate books so they can develop as characters with some space from each other. Lorna needs to end this codependent stuff she has going on with the men in her lives. She needs to learn how to live without them for a time, interact with other characters, and not break down emotionally when she isn't with them 24/7.

I cosign on that and its been my biggest gripe with the way writers have tended to handle her. My biggest fear is that even if she does manage to seperate from him, that she'll find a new guy to leech on. I sure hope and that whoever gets her next is able to write a stronger, independend Lorna who is able to stand on her own 2 feet

Knowing Marvel I can almost feel a big divided loyalties storyline coming either in space if Magneto shows up in War of Kings or more likely back on Earth when they get home. Marvel loves divided loyality storylines.

Marvel announced Starjammers will continue in X-Men: Kingbreaker, written by Chris Yost and will start in November. I am personally hoping for a 4-5 issue mini series that can focus on the Starjammers before War of Kings.

Two new Yost interviews about Kingbreaker, it turns out it will be a four issue series

But while Vulcan fills much of his days and nights torturing his big bro as well as Havok's lover, Polaris, and Starjammers teammates Raza and Ch'od, the aforementioned Shi'ar expansion also remains a high priority, one that will drag the Empire and their unstable ruler into War of Kings.

CY: You'll catch up to Havok and the Starjammers in issue one. They've been up to a lot of pain. Some screaming. More pain. Psychological torture. Physical torture. One big question is why hasn't Vulcan just killed them? Vulcan has some family issues. For instance, like when he killed his dad.

It was out about two weeks ago. By the way Wolverine and the X-Men is airing in parts of the world and if any one is interested in seeing a few screen caps of her there.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Polaris is shown in episode 13 along with Wanda and Magneto, but she really gets introduced in episode 15, and ep 16 is her first big episode, she has a role in ep 18, and a big role in ep 22. Here is some more info about the Lorna/Gambit scenes from ep 22 from a South American X-fan.

She certainly will need some time away from Havok when she gets home. By the time she gets home (if she gets home) she will have been out in space with him for nearly four years our time. She has had a few lines with Rachel and that is about it for interaction with other characters.

What loose ends does she need tying up after War of Kings? She needs her x-gene either returned to her or what Apoc did to her to replicate her powers explained far better. She still needs to talk to Magneto, its been nearly a decade since they last talked and Marvel seems content on telling her origins story elsewhere. But, eventually they are going to have to cross paths as they can't put all their interaction as characters in AU stories... well actually they can it just becomes apparent after a decade that they are stalling.

They are leaving the explanation up to other writers like Christos Gage, who did a good job with it so if ever it comes up in the regular 616 they have a good explanation on hand. And, they leaving mainstreaming the Magneto/Polaris relationship to the masses up to the animated series which will be watched by tens of millions around the world and where there relationship does play a big role in the series so people won't be saying what the crap regarding their relationship next year. That said all of it is very nice, but it still doesn't make up for the fact the characters haven't talked in the regular Marvel universe in about a decade.

ive never seen that....what book is it from? the house of m thing?

if they are explaining it for that AU, id still expect them to bring it up in 616. i mean these characters have been around since the begining, i think they are owed at least a brief explanation.

That is from House of M Civil War, which is an altered version of the 616 relality, but past events from Magneto's life regarding Anya, Magnda, and Magnus were taken exactly from Magneto's mind by Wanda and Pietro and transposed into that reality which means that Marvel has the power to transpose Lorna's origins as shown in the series into the regular continuity if they so choose. I personally think the main reason why they wrote Lorna's origins story in this series was so that they would have something they could go on to easily explain her origin to fans when they finally get around to it.

Wanda and Pietro were born sometime in the late 1940s to early 1950s after WW2, which puts them into their 50s or 60s. In order to explain why they look like they are in the early 30s Marvel in their Encyclopedia said they were put into stasis for many years by the High Evolutionary.

Lorna is supposed to be in her late 20s, but her birth unlike Wanda and Pietro's isn't connected to Magneto's immediate post WW2 history. So, while the Wanda and Lorna look only perhaps a few years apart they were actually born decades apart.

Lorna is about the same age as the original X-men, which should put her in her early 30s. She was in the same age group as Bobby and Alex back in the early days
