Oh ok. I realized Jeff Bridges was a bad guy, but I didn't know he was the guy in the big metallic suit.

And I take some of what I said back, as I had only seen what aired during lost. The full trailer is pretty well-put together (besides the music), but it was still underwhelming.

Sorry... but still man... I understand its the 21st century... but that is some extremly difficult CGI to pull off... its not as easy as it looks when you are watching it in theatres... I can go back and find a ton of shots that were iffy in SM3 and those trailers... there are always going to be things iffy about heavy duty CGI films like this... but I got to admit... that was damn impressive IMO... its obvious you aren't a big fan of the character... I really never got into Iron Man myself till recently... I just hope that changes for the both of us May 2nd.

And anyway, I think Iron Man is an awesome character. Just because I like Batman more doesn't mean I can't like Iron Man. I want this film to be good. However, the trailer underwhelmed me, what can I say? Downey Jr. is a great Tony Stark, and he's gonna be really funny, but as for the trailer itself, there's nothing that really blew me away. And I know the film will be CGI heavy, but even when RDJ was hovering in the suit talking to Paltrow, I think the suit was CGI and his head was composited on. Why?

Also, Spider-man 3 sucked. You don't want to say..."Oh, that had some bad shots, too...so this won't be bad!"

The trailer we saw was very poorly edited, but thats because its not the comlete trailer, just 90 seconds of it (right?)

The bad shots in Spider-man 3 = not what ruined the movie.

Yes its did suck... and I deeply regret the low blow... its just that I completely ruined X-3 for myself and that ended up being a crap fest... I pretty much knew the dialogue word for word before even going into Spiderman 3... ****ing ruined the entire movie for me... and it ended up being a crap fest on top of it... I just wasn't going to do that this time around with TDK... I knew Nolan was going to deliver so why bother? Just do yourself the favor and lay off the spoilers here on out... the movie season starts in a couple of months...
