In an article about another new project for Hugh (another comic book!), writer Marc Guggenheim is mentioned and it says he's written some Wolverine installments. Anyone familiar with him?

He wrote WOLVERINE (vol.3) 42-48 and 57-61. The first arc was a tie-in to CIVIL WAR and was pretty excellent. He had Logan's voice down perfectly; but in the plot he had Logan regenerating from being a chared skeleton to normal within a couple of minutes - basically because he didn't understand (or remember) the plot to UNCANNY X-MEN ANNUAL 11. His second arc featured art by Howard Chaykin that a lot of people hated, he had Logan fight the Angel of Death and the magical tone of the story didn't match the character at all. He also ressurected Lord Shingen from Claremont and Miller's classic WOLVERINE 1-4.
He's currently part of the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 'brain-trust'.
