Personally, I think that somewhere along this new Hulk franchise, the Gamma Dog idea should make a return except it needs to be better and this time, no poodles. Personally, I loved the idea of there possibly being a bunch of gamma radiated animals running around that the Hulk ends up fighting.
Anyone agree?![]() ![]() ![]() Of course other animals could be used if it could look as believable as in the 2003 Hulk movie. If they serve as minor villains or possibly as some type of minions for the Leader, it'd be really interesting to see. |

I'm not saying they have to move back. In fact, incorporating this idea is not moving back, it's not like it's new to the Hulk mythology.

Personally I have never understood why there is a problem with the dogs in the '03 movie.
It's been done in the comics, so it's not like it is completely out of left field. And yes I know some will say "just because it was in the comics doesn't make it a good idea." True, but I don't see people in the comics thread going on and on about "Hey remember that issue where Hulk fought gamma dogs". If so then someone please point me to the thread. It's really not a ridiculous idea. His father was a scientist, he was experimenting trying to harness the powers of his child, he chose to experiment on dogs. Probably because he knew they could be trained and turned into vicious killers to serve him. Which isn't that exactly what he did??? Yes I knew seeing a giant ferocious poddle may have looked funny, but those were what David Banner had to work with, they were his dogs. Joker, that's a good idea--It would make sense in future movies if the Leader emerges that we see him with something like this since I doubt he would be much of a fighter himself. Doesn't have to be dogs, could be any other type of animal. Maybe they should use a wolverine next time given his ties to the character in the comics...that would be funny

The Hulk versus a Wolverine = Priceless
So, what other animals do you think would look good being giant CGI animals for the Hulk to fight? |

I don't understand the big problem with the Hulk dogs either. The only problem I had was that the dogs should have all been one of the more vicious breeds of dog. The poodle was a bit silly. I don't care for the Incredible Hulk franchise to tread that path again, because I'd rather see them use the limited CGI effects on something we haven't seen like Mandroids or Leaders Humanoids.

If we don't get a poodle again, I'm all for more Gamma Dogs. For me, it's all good whether we get Gamma Dogs or gamma soldiers.

Hey have you seen the new trailer for the Sega Hulk game? They had two really cool looking characters that I couldn't quite make out. The one at the very beginning looked like Madman and the other had two toes and two fingers and a thumb?
The dogs are fine, I'd just want to see something new.

There's nothing wrong with something new, if they were to go for new gamma creatures, there are a lot of other animals that could be used.
