That may not be quite true, it is possible that he leaked these pics to another person at the same time as you getting it, so this other person has now decided to leak these because the other guy wont be providing anymore info. I know he said that you were the only one that he provided info for, but can you be sure that he was telling the truth?

I thought Megs was going to look more like his generation 1 frame in the sequel. This is very disappointing. His design in the first Transformers film looked better than this. Now I'm scared that soundwave and the rest of the new transformers will look like crap. If soundwave is unrecognizable I may skip watching this film in the theater.

Here's a larger version with the old concept compared to the new one.

(also from TFW2005)

It's still early, for all we know, this is just one part of his evolution. Remember Icicle Megatron?

I wouldn't mind if he looked like this. It's not too far off from the first much, just upgraded amour. I doubt it's going to be the final design. He had Brawl/Devastator as a tank already.

Wreckage would've been an awesome earth-mode Megatron. Too bad they had to waste the design on him.

The design may grow on me, but so far...I'm just not digging that at all.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see any other recognizable parts of the tank on him than the tank treads? The armor of the tank isn't as rounded as it is on Megatron.

Megatron hates Earth tech. He could get that arm fixed easily if he just choses an Earth mode, but he doesnt.

Yeah Megs at the top left wasn't even the final design for Megs in the movie, so i wouldn't be too worried yet, although i do like that new alt mode.

That's my biggest concern too.

the small arm does make the design not look as good, but really, what's it matter? His other arm is a friggin' giant cannon! It'll blow you to bits!

I don't know. These concepts could be quite different from the actual look in the movie.

If the skinny arm is made to look more like the arms in the concept from the first movie, I'd be cool with it. Because right now... that thing looks like it'll just snap off.

I didn't say I like that concept for megatron. Ok, in fact, I think the design here above is garbage.

And neither do I like the alter mode design, that silly tank.

It looks...okay, I guess. It might not be the final design which I hope it isn't. His arm looks way too thin and the feet and legs look kinda weird. Not bad but just weird. Why did they change the design though? Everyone was used to the old one now. Maybe this just false info that Bay said he would release.

The tank mode I can live with, atleast it has some relation to the comics. And like mMark said this is just a concept, we got a different Megs in the first movie to the first concept that was leaked so I wouldn't worry to much just yet, although I was kinda hoping for more flat solid looking bulk on him like the Autobots so he doesn't have that same jaggered crumple look from his Cybertronian mode.

Meg's arms are a mess, but I really like his legs with the treads, and the fact that he'll be a weird tank this time is sweet. His face/head don't look too bad either.

I agree, with Megatron being a Tank, his body shouldn't be covered by all those pointy, sharp looking plates. he should look more like the Decepticons and Autobots that took an earth mode. Unless of course Megatron can Transform into a tank AND a Cybertronian Jet.

Now that I look closely at the new Megatron robot mode I cant help but think it's a manip, some of the bits just don't look right and don't match up to other parts. I don't know, maybe I'm just reading into it to much
