So he left.

Then I was left there for an hour until they called security because they didn't know about it and I was at the wrong spot.

i have to agree, i do live in the US but had no way of getting near any of these locations, i was simply glad to cheer others on. and all in all, i felt like getting that call from commissioner gordon was an extremely rewarding end to today's events.

Hey guys, my wife did some digging and found out why the Phoenix bag wasn't in the locker.

Apparently an employee named Chad works nights at the bowling alley, and closes up. He saw somebody come in last night and place the bag in the locker. Knowing that it was a part of a contest, and wanting it for himself, he took it out of the locker. He couldn't carry it out at night because it looks suspicious to leave at night carrying items, so he left it under the desk with a post-it note with his name on it so he can claim it later.

Fortunately, the d**chebag didn't get it. HAHA!

the gpdmcu.com site doesnt really have a IP address block. I tried to get in with another PC (not being registered on the acmesecuritysystems.com) and still doesnt work, but it shows the same message:

In the off chance that "Chad" get's beat down and may not deserve it, my sister says that she watched the manager pull it out of a box with a letter explaining what it was and where it should go. While it could be possible that this "Chad" returned it to its shipping box, but I certainly hope no one goes and hurrasses the kid regardless of how or where it got to or why.

As for the rest of the game, did anyone consider that it might be wiser to avoid the acme site. I still think it is a little suspicious how Joker says "It'll be ok? I promise". Notice the ? in that statement? It seems to me like it's a test of knowing how far to go without going over the edge getting caught.

Sorry that it has taken a bit. At the moment, it took nearly an hour and a half just to get registered. That, and reading through each and every one of these pages took some time. In any case though, I wish to say from the get go, thanks to some, and shame on others.

Specifically, I did not know of these games untill a week or two ago. Partly due to being out of the country, partly due to other commitments, yes, I am a late arrival. I actually learned of the game and specifically the HAHAHATimes long before I learned of these discussion forms. I learned of clowntravelagency by deduction out of the times as well as a lot of web research. I read of it on another web site as well, and that confirmed it was part of the game. This morning, when it changed, I immediately started using mapping software (google and others) to track down what these buildings were. When I knew it was bowling alleys only (and at that, independant ones) I started making lists, this was something like 8:30 or 9 local. I live in the far west of Phoenix, but I have family and friends throughout. Having my own minions as it were, I sent them to case a few places. The Phoenix Location was by far the best, and my sister who wanted to be in on this was able to get there around 10-10:30 and she did.

Where people are starting to get it wrong, or miss the spirit of the game is in what happened next. The manager questioned her because she was out there before the place opened. Anyone with net access could see they opened at 11:00 according to the place's web site. The manager told her nothing at that time, but that she thought it was weird to have someone wait. Well wait my sister did, even once the place was open and other people started showing up around noon or 1. When it came down to time to check the thing, she was certainly not expecting some guy to push ahead of her, she is not large and this was not to be a physical fight. Others tried the locker to no avail. She tried it. The manager got interested in what was going on, fessed up about knowing, and showed nothing got placed. Apparently she did not know that her people were supposed to put it in. When she was going through the boxes of new deliveries some 25 minutes later, she found it. Some had left, I had been on the phone with my sister through this, even hearing some of the threatening things some people said.

To end this story, the manager, having seen and talked with my sister when no one else was there, gave it to her. She was still on the phone and asked if she should show it off, when a large man made some very threatening comments and I advised her to leave immediately. If someone else got there earlier, they should have stuck around. I could claim to have been there since 8, but only one stuck there because I knew I had found the right one by following the evidence. She should not have been subjected to threats of harm, regardless of who was there or what the manager choose to do about it. I would have liked if she could have shown it off, and shared in this excitement like she's hoped to do, but it was the reasonable and prudent thing to get the hell out of there at the time. I will try to get photos up soon, and anyone who would like to check it out personally, I will find some way to set it up without the talk of violence, thank you.

With that though, I like what I have read from most on here, and hope to get back in the game and help out all as things go on. The Acme site I too was directed to seems overwhelmed right now, but I will post new finds as they come to me.

Oh wow, I am so sorry for calling your sister a cheater. Truly, I am. I am also sorry that your sister was treated the way she was (I'm guessing the person who was being threatening was the same idiot ranting on here before and even maybe made abuse phonecalls to 42 Ent.)
